Join me on a wild ride from Amsterdam to Newcastle aboard the DFDS Seaways' MS Princess Seaways! 🌊 We had a blast exploring the ship, enjoying tasty meals for dinner and breakfast, and battling some seriously windy weather and big swells. It was a rough trip home, but full of excitement and adventure. If you're curious about ferry travel, ship tours, and what it's like to cruise the North Sea, this video is for you! Thanks for watching.
theres something so peaceful about ferry journey's
It's on my bucket list now
Been on that ferry between Melbourne and Devonport...... Spirit of Tasmania back then 😊🇦🇺
These are such lovely ships, I've sailed on this route since 2003. I can't understand anyone choosing to fly to the Netherlands if they don't have to.
Also the refurbished cabins look like a big improvement!
Brilliant 💯
Boarded and disembarked like this over the weekend due to the airbridge being broken
great video mate
Thanks 👍
Rough seas ? Seen bigger ripples in my cuppa.
Walk-on boarding via the vehicle route is absolutely NOT standard. It may have something to do with the windy weather conditions. Standard is via the elongated gangway from the terminal building.
@@kevinlindroth4111 thanks, I did wonder if it was normal or not
Lmao no. The gangway was broken. It breaks all the time. Its too old and should be replaced.
Really enjoyed this video
Rough sea he wants to try Irish sea😂😂😂
Try the English channel in a storm however did take 13 hours from Liverpool to Dublin in storm Barbara a few years ago.
I did that trip in 2019 and didn't enter via the vehicle entrance. It's a good ferry
They walk on because the gangway is broken. Happens many times. Should be replaced, because it is too old.
if you are on your own do you get a cabin too yourself, or could some random be allocated the other bed in a two or more berthed room like happens on sleeper trains?
No i have always had the cabin to myself, no strangers in the cabin, i believe you pay for the whole cabin, it's the same price if one or two travel
Usually drive on
bonjour, y a t il un distributeur de billet , livre sterling a bord ?
No i don't think you can purchase tickets on board, you could speak to the reception, they may be able to help
Not keen on the shower enclosure with a built-in toilet. 😮
Ship looks so ugly. Room looks OK. Main deck looks barren. Food looks good.
@@dancostello6465 the food was quite nice, which was a surprise
Ship looks fantastic. Wonderful breakfast and diner. Very friendly staff. Great memories in August..
Nothing ugly about the DFDS Ships to IJmuiden. The staff , landside abd on board are great, The restraunts and food are great. Entertainment good and ships very clean. I use them every couple of months and would never fly.
I sleep better on boats.
