@InternetPilgrim Thank you for sharing. This is a new one on me so I have to get into it, but very enjoyable. I love the courtroom scenes! By the way, though, you're wrong about there being no comic interludes between Holmes and Watson. There are loads of them in the Canon and occasionally in the TV series with Jeremy Brett as Holmes. The books are actually very light-hearted and humorous.
yes cracking the knuckles is very revolting and can identify a person in mystery stories ! we were told as children that it is inauspicious specially in the evenings ! may be to teach manners ?!!
The cracking of the knuckles are ridiculous. If I ever heard anyone cracking their knuckles that way, I'd be worried for their health. Otherwise, a good enough archaic piece of murder from the 1970's
Some of the very best programmes were made in the 1970s, laddie. However, judging by the date at the end, this one seems to have been made in 1981. But you're right about the knuckle cracking. It's horrible.
This has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster.
Thank you for posting this series.
I'm 10 min in and hooked. Love this!

Enjoyed the upload . The faulty subtitles made me cringe !!! Is the “subtitler “ deaf ?
So blurry, hard to watch it but thank you for posting
They didn't waste anytime in those days. One week found guilty, the next week swinging from the gallows.
