I think the argument about putting Will Jordan on the wing needs to be put to bed. It isn’t just that Full Back is his primary position but also it just amounts to another fudged selection whenever we do the ‘twin playmaker’ thing with two interchangeable First Fives/Full Backs. Let’s start picking specialist players - with Jordan at the back and biting the bullet on Barrett and McKenzie at First Five. Whoever gets to start at 10 does so because of form - not because the other option can just shift to their from the back.
I wonder while Rieko is doing an okay job at center surely he is a better wing? And with the form Proctor has shown these last two years especially compared to Reiko not ever showing he was a good center before he played there. Why isn’t Proctor getting a chance against a strong team?
Putting Reiko in centre gives us the chance to add more X-factor players on the wing and gives us a theoretically very dangerous attacking option at 13. I don't agree with it but I imagine that's two of the reasons.

It seems poor selection or planning to be considering BB as the 10 when he has not started there with any consistency over the last three years. The decisions of the last and current coaching teams to prefer him as a backup pivot (at fullback or as impact sub) have wasted the opportunity to develop him from the height of his potential in 2016. To an extent he was the fall guy for the strategic failure against the rush defence that has worried us since the Lions tour. Mo’unga and DMac have not fixed that problem, because the overall strategy relies on lots of moving parts to work perfectly to create space. That approach is a total team game but, ironically, we have become obsessed with “world beater” individuals who have X factor: Jordan, DMac, Savea, etc who are notable for doing something extraordinary off the cuff rather than marshalling the team effort. We’re starting to resemble the French of the 90s/2000s in both roller coaster performances and unpredictability. If you turn it around and ask what we would critique about that team and its lack of converting brilliance into World Cups or consistent form, you might identify a lack of convincing coaching, management, gameplan, selection, and development of test level talent. It’s hard to take too much out of that Japanese game. Last time we played them we were awful and only won 38-31. This time we play well for maybe 25 minutes and beat them 64-19 with a team of guys (in the backs anyway) who’ve never played together.
Razor banked on DMac but it hasn't paid off, give the reins back to Beauden. Maybe D Mac on later in game as fullback 2nd pivot. Jordie back to FB, ALB and Proctor in midfield, Clarke ,Jordan on wings, Rico wing centre cover..... just a wish list.... Finau was impressive in defence two big shots on both the 10 and 8, tickled the ribs and made plenty more tackles too. Sititi was impressive again, as was Amua when let loose on short side , much like he dies for the Canes. Ugly game but to be expected with lack of game time and combination.

I don't know if Bryn had a few too many, but Procter did not have a good game. Poor JP seems like he's had some of the Steve Hansen 'dual pivot' kool-aid. We've been trying it since 2019 and it has *never* worked in 99% of the big games. This obsession we have with taking 10's and turning them into makeshift 15's has to stop, no one else is obsessed with it like we are. Problem with BB is he's past it. I agree that Dmac makes too many mistakes, but he gives us a far better chance to win than BB. And what are we talking about with the HBs? Do we pick players just because they're old now? TJ is not playing good rugby. Period. And Ratima is the best HB in the country based on performances THIS YEAR. He deserves to start for the ABs in the big games. My 2c, for what its worth (which is f-all admittedly 🤷♂️😂😂)
I still think they need to train Noah as a 10. If Beaudan retire who will take his place. At the moment they struggle at 10 with the inconsistence at whom to play.
Guys, much respect & appreciation, but guys give me a break just because it might not be up to the AB's standards. They won ill take the win & im celebrating yeah. Guys Rome wasn't built in a day & the AB's are still going through a building & getting usr to each other. Most of the other international pod cast & news media are talking up the English what ever. What we need to be talking about is togethernees, support & really giving the AB's some good talking points. So regardless of how their playing, Im quietly confident the AB's will win & I'm sure next week you'll be all talking about how good the AB's won?. So boys talk positively, chur boys.
All joking aside, it is possible. The key is how the loose forwards go at the start AND at the finish of the game. Selection is critical - although I think the starting team is settled and we mostly know who will come the bench now too. They need to dominate the breakdown area basically. Now, don’t get me wrong, England are strong in the forwards but NZ might have a bit more mobility overall, and a more dynamic scrum. They need to improve in the lineout and the kick off. Get these areas right and the ABs can get more territorial control than they had earlier in the year - tries will come.

I don't know what you're doing in this program? Your mates sound more down to earth than you!
I'm a southafrican and the way I see things with newzealand they have lost world class players in key positions and they are rebuilding game by game a lot more depth is needed for them to be consistent with injuries. Also calib in the wing is needed for go forward ball in the northern hemispher creating space for other players Lenard brown to start the game cam roygard is special I think when they click they beat anyone one the day . Front foot ball is a all blacks team winning otherwise its going to be a long road for the rest of the year let's see what happens.
New Zealand will lose all three of the northern tour matches against England, Ireland and France because of their size, skill and tactics. Sevu Reece is way too small for a winger and offers no threats under the high ball and Osafa Amua is not precise enough especially in his line out throws. Also New Zealand don't react quick enough when they are under pressure especially around set piece. This is where the northern teams will expose them and dominate. I think the coaches of New Zealand are afraid to challenge one another especially when it comes to tactical play and perhaps fear what Scott Robertson would think. New Zealand is very predictable when it comes to attack and defence.
@@EdgarJnrJnr Yes but Kurt and Cheslin can jump and operate around 90%. Sevu is sitting around 60% which is why he looks ordinary against his counterparts. Caleb was operating around 60-70% when he first became an All Black but now hes around 80-85%. So hes clearly doing what he needs to do to fix that part of his game. Israel Falau was operating around 95-99% when he first started playing rugby and hasn't faltered since. So your right is not really size but more about heart and determination which is why I call out players like Sevu and Asofa for clearly not putting in the time and effort and who don't take their job seriously. That is a liability and both of them have already been exposed for not being able to do these basic roles.

ABs rested to many players for the upcoming English test. The A team could be stale !???
Perofeta, Love, Jacomb, Mouanga
@@TraveltrippersNZI like the way Josh Jacomb is developing as a 10. He's definitely a future All Blacks 10 material.
Beauden has 1 more world cup, mounga has 2 world cups, dmac has probably 2 world cups, perofeta will be introduced we will be fine
@@EdgarJnrJnr josh Jacomb next world cup
@EdgarJnrJnr there's prob around 5 kids at 10-12 years old in line for 2 world cups time lol
10 tries and your whinging? FFSC.
Ab's by 20. Discuss.
Discuss what. You gonna have to put a bit more effort into your comment first
All joking aside, it is possible.
@@elhefe808 What more would you like - the after match sausage roll recipe?
@@rory7590 An excellent report from you, for which you receive an A - . I had to mark you down - only because I had fully anticipated the usual howls of derision ('u r hear to much'. 'are you always complaining???????'), for which I have become accustom to my comments.
Marius
Are they nice sausage rolls??
Small tweek - Bauden at 10 Mackenzie needs to shift back to 15 his not a Handré Pollard 😂
You're right, he doesn't only know how to kick a ball and offer nothing else like Pollard.
Duplise so good over the ball. Man
Japan ranked what now ? Lower then Australia and fiji .. they literally struggling and to see this panel so harsh on abs team is ridiculous.
Dmac 100% starting at 10. He has been and will be. Go on ya punters what will bb do just kick the ball away .then you have D havili just kicks to the water boys on the sideline.😂
He won't there's a reason why a squad went early to England read the room
Shout out from SA, Let the ttle one support the boks😅
Never forget how Bryn Hall predicted an unbeaten year under Razor!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What sort of play do you want bro? The players we elected can only play to their ability given the flow of the game. So why don't you go there on the field and personally demonstrate what you want them to do. What you're demanding will never improve the All Blacks and also move you down the bottom of the loo bro! I don't know what you're doing in this program? Your mates sound more down to earth than you!
Lol what are you going on about
@@EGM534 Stop moaning and support the current All Blacks! They play better rugby than you'll ever will!

Saying Reece is too small for a winger is stupid because the best winger in the world cheslin is small
Literally Kurt Lee and cheslin would get into any team but they are small
The abs will lose Ireland, France is 50/50 and they will win England
Reece is 1cm shorter than habanna 😂
