@@petrakuhn5853 not yet, I do plan to do a series on cast ons and bind offs in the future, but I think there’s a tutorial for it available somewhere on TH-cam
Good morning Courtney. Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial. I started my knitting journey earlier this week. I’ve got the long tail co down, but struggling with the knit stitch. I think all my years of crocheting is coming into play. I’m so used to holding one hook and now I have to get used to holding two needles. But I know I will get there. And one of my cats thinks the needles are a new toy, so wrestling with that as well. 😂 I plan on checking out the Manos yarn. You are the second person I’ve seen on YT that says this yarn is a dream. It looks so beautiful in your video. Take care and thanks again. I am subscribed and will definitely keep watching. I’m also checking out you other videos. 🌼🐱
@@shannonrossi8076 I started my knitting journey earlier this year and it was definitely a struggle- hang in there and keep trying, eventually it starts to feel natural (after a lot of practice). Good luck and thanks so much for watching and subscribing 😁
@@shannonrossi8076 holst Garn Alpakka Silke would also be lovely with this- I used that initially but didn’t like the color I had on hand so frogged it and went with the Manos Serena yarn. Holst Garn Haya would probably be lovely too, though that’s not as airy
This is beautiful! Great results. Thanks😊
Do you have a video how to make the chinese waitress cast off? I like your edge stitches, it looks very nice to the pattern of the scarf.

@@shannonrossi8076 also yes the cats really like to make knitting more challenging don’t they 😹

@@mariannehanel4563 I’m not sure yet because I have not finished my scarf but I will add this information once I know how much yarn it uses.
Hallo Courtney, in Deutschland spricht man beim Stricken und Häkeln von "Maschen" und nicht von Stichen. "Stiche" sagt man beim Nähen und Sticken.
Great tutorial. Does this sequence have a name?
@@cbtringali6799 thank you! I’m not sure if it does, I just kind of made it up and haven’t seen it before, but maybe!
@ then you can give it a name!
In german we call It "falsches Patent". In english you can call it "False Fishermans Rip" or "faux brioche" .

@@dorothyrockwell8157 thank you! I didn’t know the name, that is it!
