$650 Helmet VS $120 Helmet - Bell Full 10 VS Sanction 2

Nice overview. The bell 10 seems quite expensive but multiple density foam is a nice feature not many helmets have. Typically they just have the hard foam that helps pass safety testing but softer foam is more relevant for most crashes under 20mph or not directly to your dome. I think it's worth it.

Keep in mind, you will be quicker to replace a $120 helmet after a big hit than a $650 one. May just make the $120 one safer.

The bell mx 9 fasthouse is a great choice for about 250.

The DLX version of the Sanction 2 which takes it's ques from the Full 10 is a better option and has a fidlock which I like a lot!

Interesting video. I've always wondered at what price point to you stop getting more protection, and just adding unnecessary extras. Sounds like the DLX is is close. When I was working at shops people buying the cheapest option possible with a helmet was always so frustrating. It's so worth it to buy a helmet that is going to provide the maximum protection...and the better one's are usually more comfortable too.

Yeah maybe a 400 helmet with the spherical technology, but without all the little bells and whistles would be nice. But looking at it from a companies perspective most people who can afford a $400 helmet would probably just go ahead and buy the $650 helmet anyways.

650.00 is a complete ripoff for a helmet. Wish people would stop buying them so the price would come down.
