I live in a small town called belleville up here in Ontario Canada, i wish there was events like this near me, i gotta order everything online bc the 3 stores here that carried pokemon stopped due to theft.
My favorite card you picked up was the suicune V because the background really makes the card stand out.

My favorite card that you bought was the Arceus V alternate art! I love Brilliant Stars and I think that the Arceus alt art is so underrated, and I love like all of the alternate arts from the sword and shield era (scarlet and violet SIRs are cool, but they don't hit the same way as SWSH Alt Arts). I really thought that this video was nice because we need some buyer povs every once in a while! I can't wait til I go to collect a con soon!!!!

Question, what are you looking for when deciding which cards you're going to buy? I like how you analyze the cards and are an easy negotiator.
I try to be an easy guy to work with. My advice and thinking is that the nicer you are the more willing people r to do business with you now and in the future for further deals.
I'm looking for things that are gradable so like no whitening good centering and good flips.
idk why but i love the origin forme palkia. The god cards with all red and fire in the background looks so amazing.

Really enjoyed the larger deal you made with the guys in New York and Michigan. Watching you inspect cards around my price point and being so picky is pretty eye opening for someone getting into the hobby again.
Majority of people aren't this picky 😅 I'm glad I can give an insight tho but like I'm only looking for cards that I think can grade well so. Ur casual collector doesent really care about that and isn't really gonna be like looking through all this stuff if they don't want to buy it ykwim.

Yo nice Aerodactyl V alt art at the end. Do you usually bring those card home and then send for grading? Or do you just submit them on spot at the con?
psa rarely does on site submissions but i mean i normally even if they did would proboably bring them home to film either some content or so i can review them in a calm enviroment before sending them off to be graded.

I just back into Pokemon I saw a lot of cool cards I liked the shiny mew card it looked pretty cool. Price the last one which was 230 was insane buts Pokemon for you. I’m currently collecting for the lost origin set almost done with it but just need the alternate arts which are the chase cards of the set. I hope to finish it if not that’s k. I’m in school so collecting is something I do on the side when I have time plus money is always tight in college. Awesome content I hope to make some kind of software or something big that can help many people around that’s my dream goal. Have a blessed day.

@@PeacockTCG. Thanks for the reply! So, you sort of select them out if they are in bad condition? Do you get better deals if you go early then? Before everyone sort of sifts through?
@handysptcgjourney4125 well yeah normally if you go early yes u get first pick yk. But basically all of the deals u see in this video are general admission deals if that makes sense. I normally spend the vip time chatting and catching up anyway.

Alakazam 151 easily and you can’t go wrong with those glaceon ! The one table could have been a little more friendly . Overall solid lowered end lot and good camera work

I mean I'm still going to be making a lot of money on the stack but yeah it is unfortunate how some people have smaller margins.
@@PeacockTCG. how do you end up selling for a lot more? I saw that you mention you sell on facebook. But if you’re buying at 90% or almost market, wouldn’t you need to sell at market or over market to make profit. Those margins seem small.
But it looks like you’re picking up cards to grade correct?
@sylsgames2459 yeah haha, it would be ridiculous for me to try to resell singles. I grade them, have been for about 6 months now on average my 10 percentage is around 80+% on submissions

mainly tcgplayer for raw, for slabs ebay mainly.
Do you find it worth it to travel to find grade able cards? Do you grade and sell full time by chance?
Well full time is a loose statement, im still quite young but yes i do it part time and im going to be doing full time (1 show a month) next year. I definetely find it worth to travel where i live there isnt many card shows and the possibilities to find cards at these shows are defintely worth the money.
