Droopy coupling. I got some old Wrenn wagons, lovely and heavy. No problem over my crappy old Piko Junior track, a modern Hornby one which is lighter constantly derails
It seems to me that a covered freight car with the wrong livery ... They began to be painted in bauxite after 1936. At the same time, the letters lms were reduced and moved to the left and down. I'm right?
Paddy Coleman I saw the £6.50 eggs vans he got on clearance and being silly assumed that’s why they were cheap. 😂 I think it would of been more entertainment for me if they were that bad but at £10.50 I was hoping for a tidy product. Ohhhh well more fool me. The open wagon isn’t bad really so surely if they can make one well it’s not hard to do the other 😭
Steves 00 gauge I just don’t understand why Dapol release products like this. Most people would rather a pay a couple of Pounds more and have something that works. You could try different couplers. Also, might be worth removing the wheels and cleaning wee hole where the axle goes in - could be some paint got in there from the weathering.
The main issue is that they are old toolings with moden coupling systems added. Newer Dapol wagons are fantastic. sorry to hear they werent as you hoped.
My gripe is that if they know they are crap stop selling them to idiots like me 😂 the open wagon was ok it didn’t suffer the same issues so surely if they can make that work then a van should work. I’m going to try some oxford rail next as there was a 3 pack of wagons I wanted and the n7 loco looks ace. Maybe then try and get into some 08 shunters I think

I couldn’t find one locally so I’ve bought the Smokey Joe from Argos which should be delivered Sunday. These little steam locos are amazing

I will do that paddy and you are right, make it £12 and brilliant I’d I’m fine with that but £10.50 and made by a blind roofer not so much
