I just got one and it was delivered yesterday. Some people think that LTDs are inferior guitars but that's nonsense. These are very well crafted instruments and tailor made for heavy metal. It's insanely eye catching and it sounds like a raging metallic beast (my amp is an EVH Iconic 40w) so the pairing of that is vicious. These guitars are now very hard to come by since there's usually a very long wait to get one so I wasn't expecting to get one anytime soon. But one store had a brand new one in stock so I made a dive for it knowing it was hard to find another one. The one in Violet Andromeda is even harder to get. Thanks for doing this video.
Thanks, man! Yeah I love writing cool music and riffs, one of the main things I like about doing these videos, plus it's nice to make the demos entertaining.
These Arrows are very cool guitars.I bought the EII in snow white with original floyd rose and this super working Gotoh locking machines and it is a phenomenal instrument, looks great, well craftet and its playable like butter and stays in tuning.I playing Engl Savage 120 MKII and the Engl Artist Edition 100 and the guitar sounds awsome with the EMG 81/85.🤘
Looks and sounds great. I really need to buy another V lol. I prefer the Jackson King V, but ESP has been slaying Jackson with Vs lately in terms of features/specs imho.
Very nice! It sounds great. Is ESP not shipping the SD-2 anymore? I got mine last year, it sound mean as hell, but you got some great tone out of that arrow too, bet the black metal pickups will sound killer
There were a very small handful released last year. They were supposed to do a larger official release but it keeps being pushed back indefinitely, unfortunately.
Thanks, man, something I wrote for the video called "Bloodied Arrows in Sacred Flesh" and I have it on the Metalhead productions Bandcamp if you want to check it out.
I love that guitar!!! I was looking at one myself, but I’m not a Floyd guy either! Are you just going to plug and play the Blackout’s into the EMG harness? I do that to all my Blackouts, I love those pickups!
Yeah just gonna plug the new ones in, make it nice and easy on myself. I gotta say, I'm not a Floyd guy, but now that this is setup, it's so great and is rock solid for tuning stability.
@@MetalHeadProductions Sweet man, I’ve been wanting to try out that SD Blackout Metal to, I’m running 3 sets of Blackouts now, Jeff Loomis 6&7 string sets and Dino Cazares 7 string set, they all have such a great tone!
Out of my ten electric guitars, currently four of them have Blackouts in them. My ‘93 Jackson has the Blackout Metal pickup in it. I really enjoy that pickup.
@@curtismac17 nope, its never been an issue with the handful of guitars Ive had in C#. 54 really isnt vastly bigger than say 48 or 50 which a lot of guitar come with standard.
I love the Arrow but don’t like the pickups. I bought one in the bug-iridescent purple/blue in the insanely large ESP case but took it back because I find those EMG pickups’ sound unamenable to my playing style. Too bad, because it’s an awesome axe otherwise. I can’t see paying $1000 used for a guitar I’d have to modify.
@@MetalHeadProductions I’m too used to passive pickups. My favorite are the ones in my Siggery Fury, which I think are custom wound by the luthier in England. Super versatile for all kinds of music, from rockabilly to metal! Also coil splitting so they do single coil sounds. I guess ESP knows their market for the Arrow so I won’t second-guess them.
@@claesvanoldenphatt9972 I usually prefer passives as well. Love my black winters, the m series pickups and the bkp Warpig depending on the guitar and tuning. I do like fishman pickups, including the modern, put that in a killer guitar I had made recently.
Lol, well he's right that they're not going to make or break the tone, especially in a mix, but how they interact with and hit my amps/pedals still does matter. I find myself fighting with EMG 81's because they're so thin and I don't like how compressed they feel.
This is a perfect example about what's wrong with Glen fans. "Glen said pickups don't matter lol" Then you show they do effect the tone "Uh he didn't say they don't matter, just that it's not worth the money" Glen's audience are idiots that like to laugh at other idiots to make them feel smart

Different strokes for different folks 😊. All pickups sound good. It's more about what you vibe with. Like I think Fishmans are great, and Seymour Duncan has some great pickups! But idk I just keep going back to my EMG x series.

Seriously dude, your riffs are so enticing to hear. I am always looking forward to check out your riff compared to your actual demo. 🤘🏼

That LTD sounds excellent on the 6505 1992, also awesome riffs as usual!
Rhythm is everything
Good riffs make or break a song, that's for sure

That is sounding killer. I don't understand why you don't like the pickups! But then again, I don't have a pro ear.
Less about a pro ear, clearly the end result was good, I don't like how it feels to play or works with my gear personally.

Killer mix and sweet axe bud.
I got ridiculously lucky. And got a e2 Arrow Blackfade NT on Ebay for a steal. These ESP Arrows are sick for sure.
That thing is a BEAST! \m/
Awesome tone by the way!!!
I got one in violet andromeda for $1000 before the prices went crazy. What a deal for a great guitar. Looks beautiful

@@MetalHeadProductions for old school death metal, that duncan is my first pick! I was just going more for a Black Dahlia / melodeath sound

Fantastic. Although I own Dimarzio and Fishman, I prefer EMG over Duncan. The output of Duncan was way too much for me.
