I watched the Michael Nyman band play this live in the early 90’s I think at the Barbican, wow, by the end of it I was on the edge of my seat and my heart beat in time with the music. One of my favourite live music events 😀
My first flight on an airplane in 1994, I had this one my headphones. I (instinctively) synced the take off to the last movements crescendo of drumming. An experience, unrepeatable. Grateful to a Maestro Nyman for that moment.
This music came from the Korean contemporary dance “Age of Time,” a collaboration between French choreographer José Montalvo and artistic director Kim Sang-deok of the National Dance Company of Korea. thank you
