Except for my futur clone, i have given away all my adjustables. I still have the Rockwell 6C but I don't really classify it as a pure adjustable

Nice one! I'm a set it and forget it, when it comes to adjustable razors. I do find it humorous that every company that has used this design has had some alignment issues at a point and I had that on my Gibbs until I cleaned, lubed, and replaced the spring. I'll have to take a closer look at it, but it does look quite nice. If it was me, I'd take a page out of the Gibbs book and bore out a small hole and glue in a red bead for the indicator dot. It does say something to me, that you are keeping it at least for now, as it must be a nice shaver. It is nice seeing it on TH-cam, insulated from any drama that often occurs in a bubble in forums. That soap is up my alley for sure and an interesting take on bay rum. I don't see allspice often and it's one of my favorite spices. I love those old fashioned gumdrops that use it. Take care!

Nice video. I bought one, just like yours. 1st use, with a 3 use Tweet 7days....with the scalloped bar.....I had horrible irritation and cut my chin (probably my mistake....I have more fingers in a hand than cuts shaving over many years). Setting was 3.5. Did the 2nd and 3rd pass at 4 w the bar (no cuts). Second use was with a different blade and it went OK"ish. Will try again soon. Head shave w bar was OK.

@@daveinky With a straight I’m alright but with a DE I’m not sure I’m getting the angle correct. I’ve heard about open comb DE and those interest me because I’ve heard people say they can be more aggressive? Not sure why and then there’s also razors that have a slant and I’m not sure about them either
