I love the green proraso scent, it's actually pretty classy for a grocery store/drug store style aftershave scent.

Nice shave, love the demo on 10...nice to be able to do that safely. Buying a friend his first, he recommended for my new job and we work together. Great friend so this shave motivates me, as I have seen you look for this brand years ago when you took us on a shave shop field trip in London. I think I will get him the Merkur 25C, Proraso- two kinds, Old Taylor sandlewood, (wish I could find a Paul H brush in Tennessee or easy to get online), and some witch hazel...I'll do it in a week or two, been there for one week so far, if I make it to week two I should be able to stay....job in banking with lots of computer stuff. Its difficult to get some guys to try DE wetshaving but I think I will. One of my brothers insists that he is used to certain kind and get razor burn if he changes. So his birthday, I will get him similar soaps and a good brush. Thanks for making this industry grow, good cause! Cheers!

Menthol shaves in the summer are so refreshing. It's interesting how you use different settings for each pass with your adjustables. I'm a daily shaver and when I find the right setting on my adjustable, I use that setting for all passes. I do use a higher setting for the first pass if I have 2 or more days of growth. Then I use my daily shave setting for the rest of my shave. My compliments to Mrs H for her floral intro. Enjoy your MOTD and the week ahead.
Proraso Green is one of the best solutions for wetshavers in summer. I agree 100%.
There s another one, i would highly recommand for hot days : Mennen Green Tonic After Shave. You got grapefruit 🍊vibes around your nose for 2-3 hours. Also a very good Menthol kick...
I love this razor, I have a Long and short version. I love the sound it makes when cutting, you know you then have the right angle. I'm using the Rockwell s at the moment now you have brought the Merkur Progress back to mind I will use it next. I may have told you before, that I like to use a razor for a month. So you get use to it and the shaves get better, Keep on dong the video's .

Mrs H, just beautiful flowers this morning. Very nice. And the shave was a great hot weather shave. During these hot times, i use proraso green often. Usually using even a cold water shave. My own sotd was my pearl k2 with a derby blade. Denton Majiks Truffle Shuffle soap and after shave. Day off for me, so not sure yet of my meal. Have a great Sunday

How does this razor compare to the Merkur Futur in terms of comfort/ aggression?
And is the shave equally as close with this as it is with the Futur?
I want to like this razor however after trying many blade razor combinations it's way too aggressive for me.
I agree ymmv a few say progress and future are great maybe not fr sensitive skin .I tried alot blade also and same result .take care
@@edwardbanks8322 I am quite fond of the Parker variant and Rockwell 6S , they give me a good shave.
