Great review Adam, of the electric chain saw, probably the best review I've ever seen actually. Ive always carried my ever reliable Stihl and its been great, but I gotta admit, the electric deal looks alot easier.... thanks... you got me thinking now to get one...🤔
Btw, that hand brake on the 79 can be fixed so it actually works. I have a 80 series which inherently has the same hand brake mechanism. I spent weeks figuring out why they dont work so well. And got it sorted...👍

I’ve got my first milwaukee chainsaw powertool! A bit expensive yet very satisfying to self.

@@SmartTouringSystems speaking of maintenance, where exactly I can get a replacement chain in case it gets blunt? And what bar oil you using?

Nice Review and lovely saw, I have Makita gear I take with so I would go that way if I bought a electric saw, but as I take a 3,7m tinny on top of the old 80 series and I carry my Stihl MS 170 on the front of the van in a looked alloy box so no fuel smell and a 15hp outboard on the back of Jayco wind up van, I see no point for one at this stage, As I go up the Cape and camp on the beaches around Weipa for 8 weeks, so my 7 year old 170 has got a good work out, its cut around 10 ton of fire wood now just camping, mite buy one down the track

I’m surprised they didn’t have a tool less bar, it’s not like you need a spark plug spanner
Might need to look into the 12v charger👍
I already have a bunch of Milwaukee gear, I can see one of these in the shed shortly
    Great review thanks
