The KL airport is a LONG way from downtown KL. I always stayed at the Hilton in PJ (Petaling Jaya). Inexpensive business class rooms, excellent spa for an after-flight massage, and much closer to the airport. I loved Malaysia. Thanks for the reminder. If you get a chance, find a restaurant that serves chili crab. Out of this world tasty!

@@NonstopEurotrip agreed..it takes 20minutes + to kl sentral. and its not too expensive. klia express alwas have promotion somewhere ,sometime discount by payment option, sometime discount ehrn u buy online ticket, make sure to ask the counter or look online for it.
I think Hilton in Putrajaya more closer to airport than Petaling Jaya
@@ieyadkamarulzaman5768 At the time, I worked for Motorola, and Petaling Jaya was the most convenient to the local office, plus, it was closer to KL for sightseeing.

Lucky u to be served with their famous satay.. i missed that one during my flight from Perth to KL.. as my flight was a red eye one..

Yes I ❤ Malaysia as my partner lives there, I have flown Malaysia airlines but only economy, but has always been good food service and great attentive cabin crew 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Just flown from KUL to MEL, I do agree on the old IFE system which wasn't responsive and the amenities are limited. My seat was 4K seat. For 7h 45m flight, managed to sleep about 5 hours. Had a second helping of satay (total of 7 sticks, can't help it) and I must say the flight crews were very attentive that makes MH flights are worth it.

Great Video and the best way to travel on Malaysia Airlines I have used this Airline when I have travelled from the UK to KL it has been a long time since I have been back to KL yes I agree with you that you get great service by the Cabin Crew and really enjoy all the local food that you can have.I hope that you can still do more journeys using this great airline .Again thank you for sharing this with us.

Did a flight from Singapore to Penang with MAS in the late 70s. No different to SQ service wise excepting it was a first come, first served seat selection, which was real weird😊
1K is by far the best seat on this plane. The only seat that is both a throne and has the bulkhead foot space. The cubby holes for the feet in the other throne seats are ridiculously small (to the point that I advise not choosing a throne seat - unless it’s 1K - if you wanted to get some rest).

Great flight. Thanks for the video, before I watched this, I didn't know if there's direct flight from Kathmandu to Southeast Asia, because from city where i live, only few international direct flight, predominantly transiting somewhere, especially in Singapore.

From KLIA to city centre, there's a cheap way is that you take the airport rail link to Putrajaya central then switch to our recently opened mrt Putrajaya. Our Putrajaya MRT was nicknamed as ducky due to it's shape

Do you feel your seat 1K is noisy due to the close proximity to the galley? I am flying this plane in November and thinking of what seat to pick.. thanks in advance!
I always take ear plugs so nothing like that ever bothers me. I didn't notice any excessive noise 🎧

So it was a flight Kathmandu-Singapore with a stop in Kuala Lumpur , with Malaysia in business for a good 500$.
Just checked it: it is the cheapest connection in business. But Singapore Airlines has a non stop connection for 800$. ( narrow body) Saving you a overnight stay in a hotel at Kuala Lumpur. ( + transfer, food)

Because I have OneWorld status. I stayed for free in the sleeping room in the lounge in KL
rm2500 business class? thats very cheap. flight to osaka even with business promo cost 4k+ one way 😢. miss back then where business promo to kix only cost 2k

Coz it is a 4 hr 50 mins flight Kathmandu to KL n another 45 mins flight KL to SG...
Dunno if there are other similar distance routes by other airlines offering business class seats at only RM2500...
How is this "secret" business class? you bought a business class ticket and sat in business class. If the flight was sold as all economy but some lucky people sat in business class seats then that would be totally different.

I am a Malaysian and usually fly economy. Majority of the flights I've been on were within SEA region and operated by Malindo Air. I have flown with our flag carrier a few times, the most memorable of which was to Melbourne and Shanghai Pudong. The experience was very nice, service and food was amazing (shoutout chee cheong fun), and in my opinion MAS economy is much better than Emirates (unpopular opinion)
They're similar quality for me ✌🏻
As a malaysian I don’t recommend unless your currency is higher than Malaysian ringgit and I don’t always see Malaysians use Malaysia airlines instead we always use AirAsia
Plenty of people flying Malaysia airlines and many Malaysians hate air Asia actually. Maybe you didn’t see of mix with those Malaysians…
