Oh this is so perfect! Beatrix potter is a family favorite! Mrs. Tiggywinkle has always been my mother’s favorite! I got the entire little book set with decorative box when my eldest was tiny, she read through all of them a few years back! So exciting! We have a Peter Rabbit cookbook and a big tea tin with the characters all over it. And yes you MUST dress the part! I love that you do that! I always loved doing that. You’re bringing part of history and literature alive through crochet and I love that! It was so nice seeing your kitty as well and I loved hearing the seagulls outside your window. I’ve been stressed lately so this video really helped me to calm . Thank you for your creativity and kindness ❤❤❤
Yes, I’m almost 80 yo and I raised 5 children, and each Easter they got another of Beatrix Potter’s little books in their Easter baskets. I have several copies of the little books of her entire writings. I have Peter Rabbit plates and figurines and stuffed Peter Rabbit and Jamima Puddle Duck that I put out at Easter with a miniature tea set. I watched several times the movie of her life because I love her so much. I’m looking forward to seeing how you translate her books to a crochet blanket.
