I've been looking at chips.. I have a 17 fusion se 2.0.. a 500$ chip will add 50 hp and comes with a warranty if ur motor blows up. Just an idea

Excellent video. I like that you have credited all the sources for your mods and that you kept your car somewhat " stock/factory " with things like painting the existing wheels, adding the fog lights from another Fusion, and modifying the tail lights with " masks ".
My Fusion is also silver, and this video has given me a few ideas for when I start to modify it (I just picked it up a few days ago). I really like the wrapped roof.

I’m so glad I found this channel! I own a 18 Platinum! Also I think the Mondeo Vignale 19” Rims would look great on Yours! The Vignale are just 19” Platinum Rims dipped in Gun Metal. I used to have an 16 1.5EB SE and I hated that Turbo Lag but it rotated in corners like a Focus ST!
I have a titanium that came with 19”s from factory, and with them on a lowering kit closes that gap majorly, you might even have to roll your fenders slightly

A lot of your mods I have wanted to do for a long time. I like the headlights and fog lights. I also want to put in a 1" spacer on my wheels. I think flushing the rims with the edge of the wheel wells would look great! Nice work! Keep up the good work.

Really nice looking fusion , looking to mod mine , and I’m so glad the newer 2019-2020 fusions are super easy to change the light bulbs now I know how much a pain it is when you have to take the whole bumper off just to change the bulbs
It’s friggin ridiculous! I’m glad they changed it too! I’ve been wanting to upgrade my Highbeams to LEDs too. But I haven’t because that damn bumper removal

What, you don't like that angry leaf blower sound? I have the 2.5 also, I can't decide if the car sounds like a leaf blower or what a Prius might have sounded like with a gas engine instead of the hybrid powertrain.
You forsure wasn’t lying about how slow this car is. Bought the 2013 a few months ago because I liked the way it looked, and planned to customize it similarly to how this one looks.... but i was admittedly a little upset when I realized it took a legit 15-18 seconds to go from 0-60 😭. I wasn’t expecting a race car but I’m struggling to keep up with Civics 💀

Something is wrong. With my G-Tech the wife's ripped off 7.5 sec. 0-60 several times in a row in both directions with 3 people and a full tank of gas on my level road I have used for years. It a DGI 2.0 with the dreaded DCT.
For comparison, btw, our Z3 on the same road does 0-6 in ~ 6.5 sec.
@@edschilling2725 idk if anything is wrong, I think Ford just made the car is slow lmao. I saw someone super charge one of these n it took him 11 sec to go from 0-60 😂
With the mods it will definitely help your speed because I don’t have many but I have some and The speed is definitely there

He says right in the video that the front markers (the orange " triangular " piece) has tinted film on the outside. He did the tail lights the same way as well as the redundant turn signals in the mirrors.
Awesome, thank you!... and I bought just some tint off amazon and tinted over them and cut the outline with a razor.
On the headlights, you can actually loosen the lens just enough to squeeze your fingers through and get to the bulb. I put in LED’s but it was a pain. Easier than removing the number though
I have a 2015 2.0L eco boost. I’ve gotten a tuning chip on, intake, it’s gotten a bit faster not a lot. About to wrap it in gray color and apply ss tuning wide body mode but gotta find 20*19 wheels first

What’s the link to the backup camera
Oil catch can is a Must if you have a Turbo engine to keep carbon buildup out of engine. You must have the non turbo 2.5 engine bc even the 1.6 turbo engine has like 180 hp not quick but not Hella slow.
Hey, when converting to led fog lights and head lights, just have to change the bulb? No changing sockets ?
Yup that is correct you don't need to change sockets or any adapter. At lease I've never had to in any of my vehicles or my families vehicles. The only thing you have to check is your clearances, because more often than not, LED bulbs have a big heat sink on the back and you have to make sure it will fit in the area where your head light is. Or in some cases like the Jaguar, it has to fit inside the Headlight housing and cover.
Dude! Get a Tune from Livernois Motor Sports and the K&N intake. That alone adds about 30hp and does wonders for your gear shifts.
I would but my car just won’t get much improvement in power haha... now my F150 on the other hand. That’s my power monster!
The k&n intake is whats in mine it looks beautiful nestles inside
These 2.5s get a nice bump in power from an intake and tune. The tune also dramatically improves shifts.

I just recently bought a 2013 Ford Fusion, the side skirt is cracked and the key cover is missing. I was wondering where to get replacements, where do you recommend?
For the side skirt... Id say check local junk yards and maybe you'll get lucky finding a fusion with one you can take from. Other wise Ebay will be where id go... but you'll probably have to get it painted
I'm looking for upgrades but my fusion is the 14 se 2.0 ecoboost turbo and it gets a 0-60 way faster than that if i dont spin her never timed her might do it today tho
Yea the 2.0 Turbos are quick!! and theres a lot of mods and tunes you can get for them out there. Like Livernois I hear. But unfortunately my 2.5L has little to no room for power improvements. But my MPG is good haha
When you used the 4dtech products did you connect the back up camera to the reverse lights. On the site it says not to but curious if you did and if it works fine. Thanks.
So I do believe I had the trigger wire plugged up to the reverse bulb circuit. and I didnt have any issues
Do you have issues rolling up your windows with the auto vent shades? I bought the same ones for my 13 fusion and the window senses the visor so it won’t roll up all the way.
Very Rarely, id assume once every 3-4 months ill roll up a window and it will hit then it auto rolls back down. Normally in the Summer months when shit melts out here in the AZ heat. 😂 lol.. I think they droop and move around in the summer.

So I can order anything 2016 fird fusion for my 2014, so I'd be able to get the newer mirrors with the blinkers? Such a pain the ass just finding stock Alloy rims for the '14
you always have to double check when it comes to wiring and connectors if your vehicle is compatible. But mechanically yes 2016 Fusion parts will fit on your 2014
@@EverythingAvron What about my 16's? Can I technically go up to 17's or 18's? I hear the bolt pattern is pretty much a pain to find (5x108). I know i have to watch for room wise and 18's would work but is a stretch? I just want my 14 to look more up to date, so I'm glad I found this channel
Hey bro. Great fusion. I swapped my headlights for led and now when I put my turn signal on the headlight blinks with it. Tried capacitor and have the anti flicker adapters connected, but Still flashes with blinker. Any ideas?
Mine also do slightly flicker a bit... I believe it’s just because the LEDs are very sensitive to Voltage changes and when the incandescent blinkers turn on they pull a lot more power and the LEDs flicker from the power fluctuations.
EverythingAvron I appreciate it. I’ll see if I can find a way to fix it. I heard the BCM would have to be replaced. But who knows.
How did you installed your puddle lights and how many lights does it need for the headlights
You gotta kinda pry it out with a skinny screw driver.... you’ll see a lil notch where you take it out from. Then the new LEDs are a simple connection and push it back in

They're literally just generic brand T10 LEDs off eBay. I can't remember how many LEDs but think there 24 LED bulbs

No not at all it’s easy. you only need to get the fog light harness p/n DG9Z15K867B... the fog light switch p/n DG9T13D061BCW..... the fog lights themselves www.ebay.com/itm/193254333283..... and maybe some Bulbs if there not included. And it’s literally plug and play.

Yes very similar practically identical! similar situation to our Hyundai Accents and Hyundai Verna same car, just sold in different regions
How did you install the front splitter?
So there are 3 self tapping screws on mine which attach to the middle section of the splitter. The sides have 3M Automotive tape which you make sure the surface is very clean and free of Wax, then you just stick the sides on with the tape. Hope that helps a little bit?

Another thing you should do is a muffler delete, I have one and it’s sounds mean, is loud and it doesn’t sound like a tin can!

Yes they for sure are. And the fog lights are extremely bright too
do lowering springs , really lower the car? I want mine lower but , I was thinking maybe just a little bigger wheels , the springs and the splitter will make it look lower
Yup the H&R lowering springs I did on mine gave my about and inch drop front and back... make sure you get an alignment after too

Which model and engine you have in your fusion?
mine is the 2014 Ford Fusion SE with the 2.5L naturally aspirated engine.
Idk about you but my 2016 is awd with a little bit bigger of an engine and idk if they all have the turbo but it is actually pretty damn fast
Yea... mine was the biggest engine but the lowest powered. mine was the 2.5L Naturally Aspirated with only 175 hp 😂

When you installed your puddle light do they pulse? I bought some off eBay and installed them but they pulse. Any idea as to why that would happen?
So no and yes..... No they don’t once there fully on they stay constant and look great.... but the fusions somewhat dim in and dim out as it transitions from off to on..... so since the LEDs are more sensitive to voltage change, if you stare hard enough you can kinda see a slight “stepping” down or stepping up.. you know what I mean?....But Im not sure if that’s what your facing?

Yes to make sure the grill clips in properly you have to take off the bumper

Depends upon how much you want to do.... for my design I ordered a 15' x 5' roll but part of my trunk was already done. So starting from scratch 20ft would give you way more than enough

There’s not much you can do to a 2.0t eco boost if you’re looking for plug and play. Suspension, exhaust, intake, tuning chip, fuel type, is pretty much it. Unless you know a lot about cars and wanna do some crazy mods that involves designing things yourself.
get 40 offset and 8.5 width rims and that should fix your fitment

How much would a set of those rims be?
They vary depending upon what type... I want to jump up to 19s which means I’ll need a whole new set of tires too. When the time comes I think I’ll have to drop between $1000-$1500. But maybe I’ll find a used set off FB marketplace 🤞

Cold air intake, exhaust, down pipe, intake manifold and throttle body spacer, blowoff valve (get the boomba one), front tower brace, rear sway bar, tune.
Cold air, I got the AEM intake system. I love it, makes the turbo sound better and the performance is slightly better.
Verdict seems to be Air Intake would be the mod for you....... If you really want to get faster and sound better, we should both go get those Twin Turbskie Fusion Sports lol *tempted*😬

yup... the 2.5L naturally aspirated are the slowest spec of the Model
