I don’t understand, my measurements were find but the snood is wayyyy too small and just keeps shrinking so much I can’t fit it on my dog, does someone know what’s happening?
Hi! It may be that your tension is a little too tight, and you might need to either consciously loosen how tightly you crochet to adjust, or go up a few hook sizes. Since this piece is worked in single crochet, there isn’t a ton of stretch to the snood. It’s a good idea to just give yourself an extra row (or two) when making the collar to give your snood a little extra space. Hope this helps!
@@olliehollycrochet thank you! Hi I have a question! Do we continue doing the right side and wrong side pattern or do we only do the wrong side part once and then the rest with the right side?
Hi there Belle, any time you are working on the wrong side, you are not decreasing. The right side is when the outside of the snood is facing you (14:37), and you will decrease any time you are working on the right side of the snood. Hope this helps!

Help! I can follow a pattern, but have no idea how much yarn I will need. Anyone make this for a LARGE dog yet? How much yarn did you use? Or anyone have math I can do to figure that out?
Hi Nick, Sorry for the delayed response, I'm currently on mat leave. Just wanted to respond to you on here to make sure you see my response on your comment on my site where you asked if there was a way to calculate the amount of yarn to purchase. Unfortunately, no :( There are just too many factors that affect how much yarn goes into each snood (material, weight of yarn, dog size/measurements, etc). For my dog, I used roughly 25g. If you buy one of those big skeins of yarn (I used Loops and Threads Impeccable, which is roughly 127g), you will definitely have plenty of yarn leftover. Hope this helps! Abby

Like this tutorial is amazing I want to try it but I feel so strongly that it will choke him
Can you make a video showing how to do the ears??
Ah, unfortunately, it’s quite difficult to make a one-size fits all ear for different sized dogs. I am thinking about doing a basic shapes tutorial though, which could be applied to making ears. In the meantime, the blog post includes two basic shapes that you could play around with! :)
My dogs A measurement is 2 centimeters 😂 I don’t think I realized how tea cuppy she is til now 🐕
Hey even my dog is a cocker so the measurements were almost similar haha

Help! I can follow a pattern, but have no idea how much yarn I will need. Anyone make this for a LARGE dog yet? How much yarn did you use? Or anyone have math I can do to figure that out?
Hi Nick,
Sorry for the delayed response, I'm currently on mat leave.
