I know its probably not a huge deal but them making greys able to transmog and fixing polearm positions feels huge to me. There are so many QOL improvments that Wow has always lacked and it always felt as if the previous team at blizzard just couldnt be fucked to update anything before the current expansion. Seeing them do this is really nice and gives me hope that theyre looking at WoW as one big world.
Most of it feels nice, but then they waste time restricting us on silly things (like Lunar Festival lanterns recently being restricted again to factions when they hadn't been for years, even though the factions are closer than ever now AND I bought learned them both on the same faction). I'm not 100% sold on the QOL fixes being their concern as much as a few band-aids to fix a dam that looks like Swiss cheese. It makes me hopeful, but it doesn't feel like things they are giving me as much as finally doing their job and doing things that are expected of a game so far... and these little steps backwards whittle away at my hope...
Nah, that goes both ways.. a group of plebs that pushed a shadowmoon 14 twice up to a vault 18.. and is pathetic in there. No one's got time for a 2 hour key big waste of time.
if it becomes a big issue, i'm sure that they will, as it's disruptive. though tbf i really think that they need to remove key depletion, if you fail that sucks enough, getting knocked back down the ranks just adds frustration and toxicity, the game needs a LOT less toxicity.
Problem is, if the dungeon is just done for people it's best every comes to the agreement to just dip or give up if they so want... They could put a vote system in to end the key prematurely.
What I'd really love is to see the queueing separate quest/achieve dungeon runs from racing runs. Keys are USUALLY race runs but low keys could be learning runs & it's RLY annoying to find someone disappointed in a successful +4 because they have just realized keys runs won't satisfy quests :/
About solo shuffle, some players do not /afk out, they just refuse to play and stay afk till the end for some reason. There should be an efficient reporting system for them, it happened to me quite often.
Theres a Boosting/Deranking option on the report screen. Did it many times and got some feedback that actions will be taken against these people. So its a working system(mostly).
it makes me very happy to see them bringing back old crafting recipes. I hope they bring back all the old armor/weapon crafting from classic tbc and wotlk, theres a handful of sets i would love for transmog that i wouldnt mind logging on every day to farm for
They could makes this similar to the weapons from TBC that were made into new recipes in Pandaria, so that you could farm current content for useable/sellable weapons that also were nice xmogs
Also missing regarding old transmog: (As far as I know!) The old WoD crafted items got all of their ranks and specific appearances brought back. Which also means: You're gonna need those materials and Savage Blood again.
sounds like i'll be in Tanaan a lot when i get to collecting for that expansion, been busy playing catchup until recently, nice to feel like i got time to do more than the daily grind.
Boy, Dragonflight is taking shape to be a very good expansion. I'm very interested to see what the new zone will bring, but only within a month we are getting a lot of quality of life things. But also I hope they improve performance in Valdrakken, because it's the only area that lag spikes a lot.

Another issue with the crafting system with work orders outside of the obvious not able to guarantee on public orders, is that when a multicraft proc happens it is auto sent to the person who placed the order. I feel the crafter should get the extras, especially if they are AH viable.
Almost all of that is really good. Still can't believe they added that trading post vendor for the store mounts, etc. Haven't bought the expac yet, but knowing this stuff, I hope I find more reason to in the coming months.
The Expansion so far has been really good in my opinion. I've come back to actually grind out the game and play and it's been great honestly. Playing the game way more than I thought i would. There are some issues but the pros do beat the cons out.
13:45 Weird to point out...but I agree with THAT 1000%. I've been often saying on the forums how pole-arm/staff animations are in a weird spot. Auto swing anims vary by race, some look great(Pandaren), others...suck...(Humans) but one thing that is jarring and universal is that they share special swing animations with 2-hander weapons. You can especially see that when a special swing animation is preformed with a pole-arm/staff is preformed, and it uses the 2-handed animation.. notice how your character momentarily wields the pole-arm/staff like a 2-handed weapon for the duration of the animation....and then *SNAPS* back into the pole-arm ready(combat) stance when the animation is done. I have been wanting for the *LONGEST* time for blizz to at least give pole-arm/staff animations their own separate special swing ones... So, you think you could get this prayer out to Blizz Bellular..?
There is a pretty unfortunate side effect of the white items becoming BoE - they seem to have just made a giant mass-flagging on all white/grey equipment, which means that quest rewards that used to be BoP have now also become BoE (which also means that simply having completed the quest doesn't automatically grant the appearance, you need to actually pick the reward and equip it). So be prepared to redo a ton of old starter zone quests multiple times (and be sad about the stuff rewarded from removed quests).
@@user-fv7jd4xj5n It looks like fortunately they did revert old quest rewards to BoP in the final PTR build less than a day before the patch went live (so after I made that comment). I'm not sure if it has 100% coverage (I haven't had time to log all characters in and there was never a chance to test it on the PTR), but it does provide at least some retroactively. So that bullet's been dodged, I'm happy to say...
that 'void/light shield', isnt a void light shield. Its a fel corrupted dreanei shield re color model of the ones that already exist in WoD hellfire raid.
If I get it I expect to RP it as a chunk of busted parts from the Netherlight thingy inside the Vindicaar It blew a battery can we have an eng put a new shield on this thing...
I want that fade option on UI stuff. When I enter combat I like certain things to appear and disappear. So I'm hopeful blizzard implements this feature 😌

It's a tough thing to check if somebody is pulling their internet on purpose to dump a key or PVP match and having unstable internet that just randomly drops you. I'm writing this while a nasty thunderstorm rages outside, so it's a thing that could happen. Not sure how you would be able to tell.
I often leave M+ keys when it becomes clear that people have done 0 effort to try and learn the mechanics. As a tank I need to know the mechanics, the route, the percentages per mob, when to use B, etc. So many dps players just try to wing it without any preparation, not using CCs nor interrupts simply pressing their rotations. Don't think it would be fair to punish someone for leaving in such a situation.
As a tank, try a diff approach and don’t be to toxic. Help people learn. A lot of people are super new and do not know what’s expected and they’re trying to dip their feet in the water. Don’t bully them out if enjoyment
I seriously hope that Sun Lute of the Phoenix King ends up on the trading post, as well as some of the Brawler's Guild rewards if they never plan on bringing it back.
I wasted so many good crafting mats on public work orders because I wasn't able to find better crafters on at the same time as me. Finding crafters who can make quality items shouldn't be this frustrating. Work orders are great for fresh 70s 343 gear, but it falls short on quality control for better items.

Sounds like fun, but in ESO also I refused to do all these randoms stuff daily and weekly in order to get currency to buy different cool stuff. Smashing buttons is enough for me in online games. No farming crap ever for me, except honor and pvp related stuff, that me like.
You know what they COULD of done? Made the Darkmoon faire a permanent thing, instead of it going away, then added all the "trading post" stuff to it.. basically making it the "golden saucer" of WoW.
Remember when blue items had the rare chance of dropping in dungeons? or in lock boxes? or in treasure chests in world? wish they'd bring that back as well
Idont think that leaving a Solo Shuffle its the same as leaving an M+, i leave a lot and see many people leave too, but people leave after wiper cause they wanna time the dungeon, im ok for ban if someone just enter on a group and left for zero reasons just for troll.
I think that people joining keys to leave immediately as a form of griefing is extremely rare. I've never had it happen to me and I've done thousands of keys. Certainly not enough to create a whole system to punish those who do.
The profession pace is super concerning. There are so many things i can’t do, or can’t do well, and eventually there will be higher and more difficult crafts. Am i going to finally “complete” my profession just in time for these items to be irrelevant?

I never use the order system for gear. I want a guarantee of the piece of gear im going to get. They need to make skill points for trade skills more accessible.
Im pretty sure the way the solo shuffle works wouldnt matter in mythic+ because it seems they only action you if you drop out excessively. Solo shuffle is also random queue while Mythic+ if you dont like randos bricking your key, play with friends. Though I doubt those people are constantly bricking hundreds of keys month to be spiteful little hobgoblins. Apples and oranges man.

Idk about actioning accounts for leaving m+ early. Like I 100% get that it's annoying when people leave and you can't finish, though u s u a l l y people only leave when it's pretty clear the key isn't going to be timed. Still can be annoying, and there are exceptions for sure like when people leave after a single wipe, but if the group wasn't specifically listed as a completion run then it's fair enough imo. Many players are only running keys for score after a couple weeks into a season.
Why don't they just add NPC work orders? Like, you do some quests in the world, and someone you helped commissions a piece of gear or something. Idk, just an idea

I think it means they weren't doing maths until the end of a set Now they do maths every section, and if someone bailed, all the sadness gets lumped on them instead of trolling the maths for the whole team
I'm not sure I like the catalyst thing - I get that solo players want tier, but at this point what's the point? Tier is so easy to get the abilities may as well be baseline? Vault is one thing but this just silly, makes tier basically redundant
@@kowaikokoro did you expect to kill a boss once and get your tier? That's also a problem with group loot, not with the way of getting tier. LRF, normal, hc and mythic all drop it - I just don't see a need for the ability to craft it
@@AlunDowdeswell because some people are just that unlucky and not getting tier is frustrating. When items that drop can be duplicated statistically it gets harder to get something(e.g 2 marks drop but not for your class).

I think the rating penalties is enough to deter people from leaving, as they were already doing so to prevent further damage to their ranking. Outright banning players is a slippery slope, and they can't possibly deal with every case personally without an automated system, which is never reliable.
@@godlygamer911 Remember your sound logic when the Internet or even power gets cut off enough times that Blizzard decides they can't be arsed to deal with you anymore and it's easier to just leave the account banned. Let alone other possible software issues, like crashes. I wish people had more control over their impulse to react before thinking.
I think blizz really needs to rework crafting as a whole to be closer to something like ff14 or something for it to work anything like they expected. crafting really doesn't take any skill. I mean sure getting reagents may take a bit of time, but you just click a single button and hope for rng!

You have a very mixed bag for class changes. Bear druids are NOT happy at all. There has been zero iteration or feedback. Heck, lunar beam can hurt the Bear and heal the mob. And it's a capstone talent. Yikes. Bears are in meltdown and terrified for tomorrow.
Have to say though, after doing tons and tons of keys this season, you tell pretty early on if the key will be in time or not. I used to hate leavers but seriously though, I absolutely refuse to stay and heal in a group where no one is doing any interrupts or stuns. If you do keys above 18etc you should know what to do. Can’t blame ppl for leaving when the group can’t even handle a basic pack in tyrannical week.
Especially this point into the season, people already dont need 405 items from end of dungeon, already did 8x20 on reset day, valor is worthless only io is an net "gain" for what purpose should people stay if the only gained object is lost i trully cannot phantom
Bellular, with all due respect there are some significant differences between solo shuffle and Mythic+. The key difference is with Mythic+ you have 100% control over the members of your party. Yes leavers suck but every solution proposed creates more problems than it solves.

umm the LEATHER does NOT use the mythic visual either friend, it uses the HEROIC visual, NOT MYTHIC

I think that people joining keys to leave immediately as a form of griefing is extremely rare. I've never had it happen to me and I've done thousands of keys. Certainly not enough to create a whole system to punish those who do.

The profession pace is super concerning. There are so many things i can’t do, or can’t do well, and eventually there will be higher and more difficult crafts. Am i going to finally “complete” my profession just in time for these items to be irrelevant?

I never use the order system for gear. I want a guarantee of the piece of gear im going to get. They need to make skill points for trade skills more accessible.
Im pretty sure the way the solo shuffle works wouldnt matter in mythic+ because it seems they only action you if you drop out excessively. Solo shuffle is also random queue while Mythic+ if you dont like randos bricking your key, play with friends. Though I doubt those people are constantly bricking hundreds of keys month to be spiteful little hobgoblins. Apples and oranges man.

Idk about actioning accounts for leaving m+ early. Like I 100% get that it's annoying when people leave and you can't finish, though u s u a l l y people only leave when it's pretty clear the key isn't going to be timed. Still can be annoying, and there are exceptions for sure like when people leave after a single wipe, but if the group wasn't specifically listed as a completion run then it's fair enough imo. Many players are only running keys for score after a couple weeks into a season.
Why don't they just add NPC work orders? Like, you do some quests in the world, and someone you helped commissions a piece of gear or something. Idk, just an idea

Calculating rating for the games until the leaver leaves is bad. Only the leaver should lose rating and the rest remain unchanged.
I think it means they weren't doing maths until the end of a set
Now they do maths every section, and if someone bailed, all the sadness gets lumped on them

I'm not sure I like the catalyst thing - I get that solo players want tier, but at this point what's the point? Tier is so easy to get the abilities may as well be baseline? Vault is one thing but this just silly, makes tier basically redundant
Im not sure i like the tier acquisition without the catalyst especially with group loot where an specific tier token not dropping can be infuriating

That's also a problem with group loot, not with the way of getting tier. LRF, normal, hc and mythic all drop it - I just don't see a need for the ability to craft it
@@AlunDowdeswell because some people are just that unlucky and not getting tier is frustrating. When items that drop can be duplicated statistically it gets harder to get something(e.g 2 marks drop but not for your class).

Im able to use edit mode to do everything i need. Only annoying thing is the exp bar.
The most annoying thing for me is the unmovable world quest completion/special drop pop up box thing that covers my main bar.
I think the rating penalties is enough to deter people from leaving, as they were already doing so to prevent further damage to their ranking. Outright banning players is a slippery slope, and they can't possibly deal with every case personally without an automated system, which is never reliable.

@@godlygamer911 Remember your sound logic when the Internet or even power gets cut off enough times that Blizzard decides they can't be arsed to deal with you anymore and it's easier to just leave the account banned. Let alone other possible software issues, like crashes. I wish people had more control over their impulse to react before thinking.

leaving a M+ is not the same as leaving an arena. you cant force someone to sit through 45 minutes of pain if they get a completely incompetent group

crafting really doesn't take any skill. I mean sure getting reagents may take a bit of time, but you just click a single button and hope for rng!

You have a very mixed bag for class changes. Bear druids are NOT happy at all. There has been zero iteration or feedback. Heck, lunar beam can hurt the Bear and heal the mob. And it's a capstone talent. Yikes.

Have to say though, after doing tons and tons of keys this season, you tell pretty early on if the key will be in time or not. I used to hate leavers but seriously though, I absolutely refuse to stay and heal in a group where no one is doing any interrupts or stuns. If you do keys above 18etc you should know what to do. Can’t blame ppl for leaving when the group can’t even handle a basic pack in tyrannical week.
Especially this point into the season, people already dont need 405 items from end of dungeon, already did 8x20 on reset day, valor is worthless only io is an net "gain" for what purpose should people stay if the only gained object is lost i trully cannot phantom

Bellular, with all due respect there are some significant differences between solo shuffle and Mythic+.
The key difference is with Mythic+ you have 100% control over the members of your party. Yes leavers suck but every solution proposed creates more problems than it solves.

@@the_synack And most of the time people don't have legitimate reasons when they do it. And if they do it enough that they get punished for it, just like solo shuffle, then their reasons were not legitimate.

Holy Aspects! I am so glad if they ban leavers that just dont want to play the game on other than their own terms. Now if they want to have something at all out of even a loss, they need to be nice and maybe even help weaker players! Nice! And btw people that are not nice can just leave the game in general anyway..
With all those things called ..."of the Storm" it's time to get Raszageth as a boss in HotS, which will help both DF and HotS at the same time, man she is a bitch and a bady but that voice acting is damn amazing and a pretty cool raid boss tbh.
They announced a while ago that HotS entered maintenance mode. They are no longer making new content for it.
