My fix is that I let the pc sit with the power off for about 10 minutes. Then it will boot normally. If I try restarting it while it’s been running, the error will appear. If I just put it to sleep, it comes back on just fine. Only restarts are a problem.
hi sensei. my board sometimes boot when turn off for an hour. but everytime we restart the board "usb over current detected". we then remove everything for an hour it will boot again but after restart it comes back. any idea?
hi thanks for the guidance i will see if i can fix it myself the problem i have an asus strix z270h board and i have the exact same problem. I'll see if I can fix it. I'd appreciate a tip on how to measure regulators with a common multimeter
I have the same problem, and problaby with the same 3.0 usb front port regulator. Please, can you give me the reference of the voltage regulator chip? Thank you
Olá bom dia, sou aqui do Brasil tenho uma b350f gaming com erro USB over current, tem regulador de tensão que está esquentando já troquei e continua com o problema teria como me dá alguma dica. Desde já agradeço.
Hi, i have almost the same problem but I have not been able to find a fix. For me, the pc refuses to boot up if there are multiple usb devices connected. If i just plug in the mouse and keyboard (both USB), I get the overcurrent message on the first few boots. Then the computer boots up successfully and I can use the PC normally from there, including all but one of the USB ports (the one port that doesn't work has been like that for a long time, but it's only recently that I started getting the error message, so I doubt it's the problem). Can you give me some advice? Thanks!
hello Please can u tell me how to disable all onboard usb ports as they all been damadge i will use a pci-e card. PLEASE. maybe there is a ic i can just remove
Thanks for the vid. Could you please help me with my mobo same as this one in the vid MSU 970 gaming , fans working directly once you lug the power ( power bottom has no effect). No post, No display. I think power surge caused the issue.
