The main problem is that Phillip groomed him since matthew was a boy even though he denies it. Alex Jones (the TH-camr) took a video of the two dinning when the boy was only 15. So is an absolute proof Phillip was grooming (and perhaps more then). The sad thing is that the groomee usually don’t realise they are being groomed so he is probably confused given the fact that Phillip is paying for his lawyer fees at the moment. How many grown men take their teenagers for lunch think about what you're saying This is not a crime it's definitely not grooming. Thank God for real people like this and for not treating the general public like we're stupid! The very staged interviews with the Sun and BBC made me scream! They"re aiding and abetting this creep trying to tell us its normal to seduce a young kid. If he did nothing wrong why did Schofield ask the guy who "accidently" filmed him in that pub/restaurant, sat with the boy in question-when he was obviously a child- to not release the video? Plus this insistence he was 16 when he first met him, there is plenty of photographic evidence disputing that! His other "best mate" was 12 when he met Philip- who was 39 at the time, they each put a photo out on social media themselves discussing it. This same 'best mate is also pictured sat draped over this same boy. None of this was brought up by the so called journalists in those staged interviews. ITV producers and executives know, no matter what PR campaign these creeps are pumping out.

Most teenagers vape. Maybe that's why it seems creepy. I thought exactly the same thing. That this was a bad look but until the young fella said I couldn't quite put the why of it into words. But it's some sad old wrong'un attempting to look like he's down with the kids. A sort of "Look at me I'm cool enough to have teenage friends because I wear skinny jeans & vape."

@@whitehorses460 I'm a teacher and I can tell you that yes they do. Whether their parents know it or not. It is far easier to hide from parents than smoking cigarettes was for my generation because the aroma is nowhere near as potent or as unpleasant.
