I am feeling sad this morning knowing we will not see are king 🤴 of this morning. I just remembered Philip and Holly got us through the pandemic. I hope Holly continues to be a good friend because Philip needs a good friend right now I bet you he is feeling very low right now with what as happened to is brother. He needs a good hug and kisses. I will be upset tomorrow knowing are king 🤴 of this morning won’t be there with Holly. So sad. I am sending all my love to you Philip ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I always thought phillip would leave with a proper farewell and send off episode. Wouldn't have expected it to end like this a few weeks ago. I just had a look at the start and end of the show and looking at his body language you can see he probably knew he wouldn't be coming back. He looks a bit tense from when he links to loose men.
Theres numerous behind the scenes incidents involving him. he had to go, it couldn't go on.

Having read much on Philips resignation/sacking. There was talk of tension between them being visible on the show. This is the last show together.... where is the tension? Clearly, comments about Holly walking off early the previous day were not true as Holly had a royal appointment. When folk turn, they really do with double standards. All very sad.
Holly said "See you on Monday "Bye" and Phillip said "Bye" 1:54:50 and unfortunately they were wrong.
The way Schofield squirmed when the guy on the screen started a sentence with “a young man”
Just to clear up any confusion word doing rounds is we will have a gmb kind of thing with holly as main host with this morning family members joining different days and weeks….. but I find it odd Jake humphrys left bt sports on Friday and he is friends with holly
This has exploded into a full-blown crisis for ITV that’s spread way beyond inter-personal issues at a specific show. There’s now serious questions about employee safeguarding and senior executives turning a blind eye to inappropriate and abusive behaviour. It’s hard to see how This Morning survives this given how much the ‘we’re all a big happy family and best friends’ image was played up. People at every level of working on that show are sure to have known what was really going on.

Greetings from Canada. I am not familiar with the show, but this seemed to be a good morning show and professionally done. I did not notice anything amiss between the co-hosts.
it is one of the biggest morning shows in the United Kingdom,the male host had an affair with a runner on the show and quit

I find it all a huge overreaction. Is he really the first person to have an affair and not be honest about it? I don't understand why him and Holly cannot be friends anymore. Friends can argue and not approve of what one is doing but they can still remain friends. It feels like everybody is acting holier than thou.
Maybe look into it it's not that he had an affair have you not seen the rest about the grooming??
It wasn't just a simple affair tho. The person he had the affair with is at least 30 years Philips junior andhe was a child when he started on This Morning. I don't want to personally use the word grooming but Philip had a duty of trust and care that he essentially broke - and do what? The ruination of his friendships, marriage, family bonds and career.
The affair didn't start until he was of age. So does it matter that he knew him before he was of age? Is the grooming not alleged?

I'm 52, vape pens have helped me completely quit cigarettes! I disagree that the fruity flavors are just for kids! My favorite flavors are banana ice and strawberry cream. I've cut down considerably and these vapes are helping me to quit!! Here in the states, all customers are ID'ed no matter their age! Why can't Britain implement a similar policy instead of taking away fun flavors from consenting adults!

They went to a scheduled advert break like usual but didn't return after the adverts. They never went off air as some news articles suggest, as the technical problem happened during the break, so there wasn't anything to see other than when they came back from the adverts, as shown in the video I uploaded.

To the best of my knowledge, he didn't know it was going to be his last show. But we don't really know that for sure, it's quite possible that he did know.

I value the channel alot, I enjoy reading everyone's lovely comments and interacting with the This Morning community. It might sound silly but I think I'd be lost without the channel, it has become a big part of my life over the last 2 years and I honestly don't know where I'd be without it. I would be absolutely devastated if the channel was suddenly taken away from me. I'm very grateful for ITV allowing me to upload what I currently do, I don't want to go too far and risk losing everything.

From the moment Philip opened up and told us about his sexuality, the nation just ‘shifted gear’ in regards to the volume of pressure that was inevitably put upon him…
We all now live in a world where social media platforms easily enable us all to ‘chip-in’ with our own idol speculations; creating rumours, scandals and mistruths that can evidently snowball way out of control, even beyond the abilities of professional publicists- I can imagine that they tried their very hardest to salvage the situation in hope of it not boiling over into its sad conclusion…
I am certain that this will, for sure, be felt harder for him more than anyone else!! Very sad indeed.. 😞

Cant believe that hate holly is getting...what did she do wrong, shes within her rights to be pissed off with phillip.
His actions have had a massive impact on her.
Now shes lost her job to but no 6months salary for her.
as a late-comer (and American) who discovered Phil and Holly over Covid, i've gotta say, this whole situation has made me sad. we obviously don't know what really happened, but when Phil and Holly were friends, there was really no better morning duo. jobs come and go, but i actually believed they loved each other and the disintegration of their friendship is sadder than who remains a co-host. at least we have so many great clips and memories of them at their peak. all things must pass, right?
Philip did not groom a child he had an affair with a younger man of legal age who happened to be a runner on the ITV show, he then came out as gay in 2020 of which Holly gave him her upmost support on this. He has not done anything illegal at all only that it now transpires he had lied to his employers his talent agency his friends & colleagues of which he is very very sorry about this & stepped down with immediate affect shortly after this show. His brother Timothy Schofield has been charged with 11 counts of sexual abuse on a minor who was 13 at the time he has now been sent to prison for 12 years He did tell his brother some of what he had done with this victim but his brother made it sound as if it was a one off & Philip told him it must never happen again. When the trial was over Philip Schofield made a statement to the public about his brother's crimes & said as far as he is concerned he no longer has a brother. Holly had distance herself from Philip over recent weeks we do not yet know what this was about but probably that Philip did not tell her about his brother's trial & why should he its private until the trial was over

I agree. I'm Scottish living in America and loved this duo.... so sad it ended.
What I will never understand or get is why Phillip's career and reputation and future is all over because of Phillip's affair with a younger work colleague who by the way is keeping quiet and keeping his or her nose clean. But instead of coming forward to confess to his or her part in the affair that damaged Phillip's life,career, reputation and future in the hosting business etc.
Phillip's ex wife Steph wants nothing to do with Phillip. Phillip's daughters Molly and Ruby I think won't talk to their father.
Phillip's decade-long friendship with Holly is no more.
Phillip's life is over because of one stupid mistake that he made. Phillip admitted that he made a mistake in having an affair with a younger work colleague.
Phillip also admitted to lying to Holly his best friend about this.
But Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford couldn't help themselves either. Eamonn keeps branding and slamming Phillip and he continues to threaten Phillip's life and future reputation and career.
ITV did not cover anything up in regards to Phillip's affair with a younger work colleague.
If that robot is anything like a car it will breakdown

His brother is indeed In prison Kyle he’s been sentenced to 12 years in prison for child sexual abuse because he’s been messing about with the 13 year old boy

It's sad that Philip Scofield is leaving TV, i can't believe how petty people are to him so he had a boyfriend who worked at itv what's wrong with that, and as for the other issues that was his brother not him, it's not his fault.
I think the fact Philip Schofield cheated on his with with a boyfriend 30 years younger is wrong. I think we could just be witnessing the tip of the iceberg, and a lot more of this kind of behaviour will surface.

That was once a peaceful show started by amazing Richard and Judy has now snowballed into lies toxicity abuse of power and now it’s exploded into a 100% crisis for ITV and this morning I honestly don’t know how this will survive or will go on just bring on next week when parliament gets involved

The guy had been lying to the public and his family for years but when he finally came out the media praised him so if the media are turning on him like this I think they definitely know a lot more shady stuff than we do

The young man in question is 27 now & just wants to move on with his life, he has also told his lawyer that it was consensual so he wasn't groomed as many people suggested at the time. He had one unwise affair whilst married he was struggling with his sexuality at the time & it just happened. The Police haven't arrested him in fact the story has gone away now after much talk about it all calling him a groomer a liar his private life is his own & providing he hasn't done anything that is a criminal offence then there is nothing we can do about it plus neither of them took part in the enquiry we the public don't need to know anymore. Person X was never going to the press to out him because Person X had already been told Philip was going to do this himself to which person X said this was very brave of him
I think Holly's gone too, she's been damaged by association. The whole show has been damaged tbh given the disgusting stories that have come out.
