  • What’s up everybody. In todays video, I will be installing a set of 8 LED RGB lights to my 2016 Street Glide Special. What’s nice about this light kit for all motorcycles, is that it is easy to install (plug-n-play), it allows multiple colors, it has a convenient remote, and it has a safety feature that lights up all LED’s “red” to act as an additional brake light.

    You have 'without a doubt' THE BEST instructional video on TH-cam!!!! You kept it simple, to the point and actually showed the wire routing.
    My bike is naked right now due to maintenance so i figured this is the best time for me to install these lights.

    Thanks for a great video! It was very detailed, and easy to understand. No annoying music either. This is how a DIY video should be done! Great work!

    Very helpful, thanks a lot. I have this same kit I'm going to install on my Honda CTX over the winter. I plan on getting power from a switched power source so I don't have to worry about draining the battery. And I'll connect to a brake wire for that feature. Thanks again.

    I went with the Suzco Dreamcolor kit, has over 200 pattern modes, and is Bluetooth, I paid about 45 bucks. Well worth it!

    About to go wire up my road king up. I love just the white light. Keeps it classic looking. And that brake light feature is awesome

      Nice 👍🏼 road king is a beast. Any light kit I use on my motorcycles I always make sure it has the red brake light feature.

    Nice video.
    This drove my ocd mad though. I wish someone made a kit with enough lights to light a bike up properly. Should be able to have stripes across the bottom of the tank so the whole motor is lit on both sides. Those dark spots hurt to see. 😂... great job though man. Respect.

      Works fine…I have the same kit on my wife’s Ryker. I sold the street glide since this video but have a new road king build I am working on now. I’m trying a different set for the new build that has 12 lights and still has the brake light function.

    Thank you great video kind of new to all this DIY. Just got my lights today will try to put it together this weekend. Was going to ask if by any chance you could do a quick video on how exactly connect cables to battery specially the break light 😳

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t have that bike anymore but I am working on a new Road King build and will probably add lights soon. The best thing for a break light is either look up the wire color specs for your bike and tap into that or start at your brake light and chase the wire back to where the battery is and then once you determine the right wire tap into that.

      I assume you are referring to the wire connector/splicer. Try this link and let me know if this is what you are talking about. amzn.to/3SVN1Ou

    Great video! I just installed these on my FZ1. Question: have you found instructions for the remote? I’ve somehow activated the memory feature , it now turns blue instead of off when pressing D. Everything else works normally.

      Sorry, I don’t have the instructions as I sold this bike a while back.

    Would it work if I hooked it up to a running light? So I don't have to turn it off or on with the key?

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  ปีที่แล้ว

      Should, I would suggest a kill switch in the ground line if possible.

    You should have stated that we need to buy extensions for the lights.

    • @DieselLegiance

      The light kit comes with the extensions.

    • @Isidore22
      @Isidore22 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Every light kit is different. You probably got a different brand that came with 8 lights but different cables. There are dozens of sellers on Amazon with these types of lights. It isn't his fault you got a different box without extensions. Its your responsibility to keep track of this info.
