How dangerous is Haiti as compared to Afghanistan?
@@qtt8122 pretty much the same. There is still no president in charge. The gangs took over much like the Taliban he's in Afghanistan. Kidnappings are said to be extremely high in the capital. And the gangs are armored and funded by its own government. Haiti has also been invaded by the US before as well.

Although I try not to judge or listen to the world's negative commentary (as a black women and because of the way they portray us to the world) about other parts of the world because there is always 2bside to every story. She reminds me of my father. He woukd say you only get one life dont live it scared. He had so many stories and experiences to share with us .
At her age I had her courage now not so much.
Afghans never attacked anybody in the last centuries, they had been attacked and had to defend themselves only. Others came from far far away and killed our people. People who loves foreigners, but unfortunately they were killed by foreigners, but we still treat the foreigners as honorable guests, specially when they come without weapons .. 😔

Mary.J it should be mentioned that Afghanistan is a country which produces different kinds of organic fruites and vegitables not only bananas and apples. It seems that your guide is not very familiar with the country. Afghanistan has alot of spectacular and touristy places which he has not shown you yet.

Unfortunately, the chips are late I was in Afghanistan in 2006 out of Bagrum airfield, and conducted several vehicle patrols, out in the mountain ranges, and Kabul, the thing about the children, running up to the vehicles, and tossing them MRE= meals ready to eat, or military field food on the go, and the junk food that we could get from the chow hall, chips, and M&Ms(I personally enjoy the interaction with the little people) as I missed my own son, and he was a toddler when I was in that country of Afghanistan please be safe, be strong and the wise, because you are under strict surveillance, whether you believe it or not
Thanks for going there again and sharing your experiences. I did think you would be talking more to actual Afghan women and their lives there hence the title of this video.

Thank you. Amazing video. Love your voice and narration. All the hatred comes from the big loudspeakers and their side speakers who are against Islam. It has been like this for the past 250 years, a battleground of superpowers and the unwillingness of Afghan Muslims, especially Pashtoons, to serve someone else other than God.

How and where did you get the Afghan visa? Since there is no diplomatic mission in the U.S.
Looks like traveling with an electric blanket to Afghanistan is needed. In nigeria there is a metal boiler you can carry around that can boil your water but uses electricity. I think it’s called ring boiler.

Great documentary of your experience Mary. I'm surprised though that you couldn't find a warmer womens coat. They do exist in Afghanistan and Pakistan as some people live in cold mountain areas.

Such a shame and almost laughable that the UN representatives have been going to Afghanistan for decades and stay on the UN base. I cannot believe how unfortunate and they are to lose out on such a beautiful, historic country. As a British born Pakistani I haven't been to Afghanistan but am very aware of how culturally rich the country and its people are.

Technically you are not the first American to walk on the street of Afghanistan. My friend and I went to Afghanistan August 2022 for a whole month. Afghanistan is not as scary as people say and the news. I will definitely go back again. In Shaa Allah.❤
