I truly appreciate everyone who has supported my mission. I love you all thank you!
I have found that everyone suffers with addiction in different ways, we just suffer from a drug one. I journeyed my detox/ withdrawal off heroin from day 5 all the way to the present. I have journaled many experiences and have shown many of my stories on my channel. During this process I have learned much and continue to learn. I have found that we addicts need new people, places and things for sure!
People Overdosing and dying from addiction is real! I detoxed off heroin and know what its like to be stuck and not be able to stop using drugs. Intervention is sometimes necessary because I know the mind of an addict first hand. The way these drugs feel consumes the addict and they cannot think of stopping and follow through without proper help from others.
Addiction can be overcome. Cocaine, alcohol, benzos, adderal, ecstacy, opioids, heroin, steroids & mushrooms are just some of the drugs that I have tried. I wasn't addicted to all of those listed but I have experimented with these. The war on drugs is stupid and the stigma on drug addicts needs to change in order to help the drug addiction issues within America.

I can relate! I just celebrated 9 years clean and sober! I got clean in prison. I was addicted to crack cocaine and alcohol. I lost my children, everything that I owned, my pride, self esteem and dignity. I had been to hell and back taking my family with me time and again, but they never gave up on me! I attempted suicide, the doctor told me that my kidneys and liver were going to shut down! I’m steal here! I have a purpose in life! I gave my life to God while in prison where I served 34 months. I’m remarried now and have a good relationship with my kids who are grown and have their own families now! Thank you for letting me share!

My mother died when I was 8... I found her after school, she had a brain aneurysm, so I was attached to my father and sister... I had a verbally abusive step mother and I moved out at 17 to go live with my sister, then my sister Anne got brutally murdered in 2002 in portland maine, that was the start of cocaine abuse for me, I always smoked pot... it made me relaxed and less anxious... I moved to florida to do something with my life, lived with my grandparents, my father ended up moving down the street from me in florida.... which was awesome, he then died, my step mother took everything and totally ignored me and my child.... I started using crack after my dad died.... then I took care of my grandparents for 6 years.... they both died on my birthday exactly a year apart. So basically I have nobody at all.... i been through a lot.... so YES IT IS FROM TRAUMA.

Your life is real, and my perception is not out of hate, but it's a fact your life is literally overexaggerated. You're not exaggerating, but the things that happened are exaggerated. I was never that great at distinguishing and judging exponentially. I've come to learn luck is a real thing, and it throws my mind the most. It's hard enough to decode one loss and grief, you definitely got overdosed with it. Sending you love ❤️ I guess the flaw is in labeling circumstances good or bad because we all have to pick something, and almost anything can come out of serendipity.

Yes we are all different , but we have one thing in Common , Thebwill to stay clean and sober .
When I tell my clean date . I always say 9 years clean from Heroun Prostitution and Jails. I grew up in strip Club in Canada and then was such a HOT MESS that I literally couldnt work sick at make Money strung out. So I worked the street for a decade living in a abandoned houses and hptels. Lot of Fun and BAD MEMORIES. Now I'm 38 and have my first and only Son hes 2. I always thought I would just die out there. But I had that Psychic change. I never went back. Thank God.

Trama is right . I had no I idea how bad it was and I'm here waiting for that deep trama I don't remember to come out .I'm 54 and finding out the man I let move in for a while was a Sociopathic Narcissit and learning on u tube in that 24 hours I knew I was from this toxic kind of family and the suicides of my bro and sis was part of this curse. I've always been able to switch my personality to my situation. All I ever knew was when my dad died I was 7 years old and y mom was a mean alcoholic. I never thought there was any abuse her kids were all dying so she drank . I made myself feel sorry for her. I think it was Spiritual Awakining but when ever I started thinking about the past I was in the shower. The trama was severe my poor oldest sister got the worst of it . I have to know why I dissociated till 12 years old but I'm so down now and have had such a hard life I'm not sure I won't take the same way out. I live in this low income building in the middle of downtown we own the suboxen clinic next door. Lol Everyone here is an addict mentally ill and most are disabled. I started doing meth s few years ago and tried to stop a few times but the depression about 40 days after quiting always brings me back.i wish Drs or therapists would understand it works for some people once you get over staying up all night and the sexual insanity. I've been off and of perscription speed for a d h.d. that was really p.t s d. And I know how bad it is but I can feel with it and I've been numb all my life.

I'm from and still in Cobb county, and Ridgeview is a joke honestly. They are all about getting money, no money, no help. Meetings at that place are full of those people that judge you and treat you like if you weren't like them then you were beneath them. You are both right, until the stigma that accompanies addicting is no longer there, things won't change. Shame and disappointment in yourself are enough to cause you to relapse. Thanks for speaking out and telling your truth! Congrats on getting out of that life. You are an inspiration girl!

In the 80s I became a cocaine addict when my EX injected me. When I broke up with him I drove up to the projects alone, went home and injected myself not realizing it was twice the amount I was used to and immediately I knew I had taken too much... the room began to shake up and down violently and I fought not to pass out as I knew if I did I would probably die. I reached out and got my Bible and I swore if He would let me live I would never touch it again. Fast forward 20 years and I'm married with a teenage son. In November 2013 my brother and his friends introduced me to smoking crack. I struggled for 3 and a half years before I could stop. So I'm clean from it for 6 years and I fight daily to stay off of it. By the Grace of God, I never have to touch it ever again....

Thanks Darlene for sharing your story. I see this behaviour where I live, women sometimes shout out in the streets about how men will use them for sex but when they just want money they aren’t around...it’s sad.
My mum met some ex prostitutes at a pub once and they were overweight. They told my mum their story about drugs and once they left that scene they didn’t want to be known, so that’s why they put on weight.
No offence, but from my observation, a lot of kids end up being what they see...that’s just natural and that’s all they know!
