She did the same with "Love Will Save The Day" at 1988 Special Olympics. I'm amazed everytime I see a performance I've never seen before or forgot about over time during this time period for her.
One of her amazing 7 in a row number one songs. An enduring classic from someone who burned out way too soon. Another artist who made 80s music so great and memorable.
Whitney came out there and shut it DOWN, from start to finish. The sound was messed up and she still Shut Shit Down; that's what you call a real, true singer. Her voice was so powerful that it over powered the technical difficulties.
Sang to a track. Sang! Live. No band. No dancers. No nothing but just the voice and that talent on stage. Not sure we will ever see another like her. Always loved. Dearly missed. When marriage equality passed last week and there was celebration...I could just hear Whitney singing "all at once"...it happened!
@@biggityboggityboo8775 I don't understand why she didn't include that bridge section on the original album version. It's far superior to what it ended up being.

She look like she had so much performing this song😚😚💃🏽
I love the vocal runs during the bridge❤️❤️
Oh God she's amazing here. that voice so fresh spotless. and her charm is beautiful. Happy days for her and her mum. Rip whitney we miss you like crazy.,
Beautiful voice! And like someone else said, her improvisations are so good.
I have never encountered such full, soft, resonant, intensive, solid, dynamic, PERFECT voice.
No gimmicks. No trashiness. Just unfiltered talent.
Breathtaking. On so many, many levels...I mean, the voice, the presence, the conviction, the adornment/interpretation (NOT just like the record), the charisma, the SAVE at the beginning, the poise...Course, I could go on...
(But why cut off the standing O though? Cuz I KNOW there was a standing O...)
Whitney, I miss you every day.
