Hi there, if you're reading this, hit the like button, drop a comment, hit subscribe 😊
This was a weird race. While it was exciting and intense, that tension was brought on by the mixed conditions and the failures of Mclaren. Had the track stayed dry, I don't know if it would have been as good.
At the same time, those mixed conditions showed the difference between Lewis / Bono & Max / GP against the rest of the field. Those are the two best driver-engineer pairings on the grid and, quite frankly, I don't think it's even close. And Lewis put on a tyre whispering clinic. A couple things had to swing his way, but he maximized and won it.
But to say Max was HANDED 2nd place? Good lord. He had to work hard for that, and he ended up 2 seconds behind first place. If he'd been able to avoid floor damage in quali, we wouldn't be gushing about Hamilton's performance, we'd be rolling our eyes at Max winning AGAIN.
Agreed, a normal race probably would've been a McLaren 1-2. I think the rest of the engineer/driver pairings really need that pressure testing phase like Bono/Lewis had in his title fights and GP/Max had in 2021. Hopefully Norris/Piastri can have that experience for the rest of the year with theirs, iron out the issues and give us a 5-6 way driver title fight next year!
@@BlatantlyBiasedRacing Agreed, hopefully Silverstone is their wakeup call. There was a point in the race I had no idea who was going to win, and McLaren bottled it TWICE. The grip that car had in mixed conditions was unreal, the way Norris caught Lewis in Stowe was terrifying.
I hope this is a sign of more intense fights to come. The racing is starting to get spicy.
@@BlatantlyBiasedRacing In the dry, it was mercedes ahead. Mclaren caught up due to the rain as they had a better set up for it.
In sochi21, Norris was asked to box.. he refused and threw a tantrum.
The biggest issue Ferrari has right now is they run their sessions like garbage and their strategy is worse. You need to isolate the problems with your car; to do that, you CAN'T be making ridiculous strategy decisions to try and gather up some extra points and positions. Bring your drivers in at the right time, put them on the right tyre based on conditions and deg. Don't make Charles sit out there for 7 laps murdering the inters.
They're not sure what's going wrong with the car, so they need to stabilize decision-making so that the actual shortcomings, the actual sector times, the actual pace, are apparent in the data. You need to remove all of the possible confounding variables. Ferrari can't do that, though, because they ARE the confounding variable right now.
Which is basically what they've done since 2008
As i am a George fan i was devasted by the retirement and afterwards i saw that he has the issue basically from start of the race, even worse lol, also love the content keep it up.
No, he didn't have the issue at the start if the race. He said that he knew something may have been wrong about 10 laps before his retirement.
@@lalalittle3900 he had it about lap 17 i think it was said by the mercedes team he had to managed for a while but ended up retiring
@@lalalittle3900 I agree not at the start but later on
Came here through a recommendation from Jason and really enjoy the analysis from The Casual F1 Fan, who seems to be anything but a casual. Keep it up lads 👏
cheers! :)
A simple hello
Good lad
Gotten addicted to this one! Love it. Blatantly unbiased comment here 😅
good lad :)
"Crofty has lost his fucking mind" amen to that!
Well...he has
Lawrence brings the best people- *laughs in Lance 🙃🙃
Yeah not counting him, he's an outlier in the worst sense of the word.
Max got handed 2nd place by McLaren ... as a Max-fan, I can't deny that.
Does Lewis have the legal power to play a uno reverse and stay with Merc?
I think it's possible Merc may be a championship contender next year. Ferrari will always be Ferrari.
Not with that $100mn contract with Ferrari
so.........about the title of this video...........
So even Fred can't fix Ferrari? 🤣🤣
Only Michael Schumacher
@@BlatantlyBiasedRacing Michael is the answer for everything.
@@BlatantlyBiasedRacing Nope. It was more to Brawn and co.
@@madjayax731 ah yes ofcourse
He's gone to Ferrari for 2026. No one knows what will happen then. Isn't that obvious?
It was 26 minutes to Lewis's topic.. I'm super happy 🙃🙃
"Hamiltons last ever F1 win ?" I never wish bad on anyone, but may this podcast never see success. Inshallah.
Hahaha...take it easy Khalid, watch the pod, you might think differently,
If you don't, it's alright 😉
Could you bois drop your Twitter/X handles please? It sounds like you know how to stir the pot! 😂
@jayhassett & @ThecasualfanF1
It’s very funny since when Max beat Lewis?
Ooooh 21021 ooops 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am seeing so many comments from sai 😂
Learn from him and drop a few yourself, writing 'Lewis Hamilton is the GOAT' is acceptable as well (for now)
I would rather argue with him, will probably add 100 more comments to the video@@BlatantlyBiasedRacing
@@shivam77043 We'd love that
Welll....Max is a dirty driver when he's being overtaken...and sucking up to Hamilton after a win? That was sucking up? So youuu just started watching F1 I assume? Because the commentators weren't on their knees infront of Max 2021 fighting Horner for a turn to suck up to Max? FIA president wasn't letting Horner know he's his only friend at the gala? So if everyone is saying Redbull built a great car... that's sucking up right? Everyone says "McLaren has built a good car now", "Hass brought a good upgrade", "Redbull strategy team is the best", "Max drove great" all that is sucking up because a lot of people are praising them right? Now Ferrari wins a race, ppl are happy... Italian bias? Alpine sucks...anti Alpine? Max is a great driver in all conditions... Dutch bias? Just tell me where the dividing line between sucking up and bias, and giving credit and praise is.
First things first, Install Grammarly,
Secondly, not sure what point you're trying to make here. be a bit more precise, we love the banter :)
Last win in F1 it seems 🤣
@@SaiKrishna-cr3gw Let's hope so. That was cringe af.
