Electric Zither custom instrument made BY and For Blue Man Group, it has 81 strings and has 2 sections the chord section where his hands are now at the bottom and the harp section for single notes at the top, they have plexy glass under them so they can be lit correctly during the show, and they put pickups in each of the specific spots to get the correct notes, under the instrument they have various pedals to give each part of the show that specific sound and feel that they want to create.
Many people don't know this, but there are far more than three "blue men", these three are the face of the group though. I actually know one of the Blue Man, he's the brother of my high school band teacher.
The Blue Man Group is awesome on so many levels of entertainment & education too LOL! I'd love to see a live show & meet these incredible masters of art & sound.
I saw a live BMG show in Las Vegas - all other rock concerts pale in comparison (and I've seen Led Zeppelin live). There are FIVE DRUMMERS on that wall behind and the arena is absolutely pounding.

Blue Man Group are fully aware of my youtube and have no issues with it, I have a lot of connections inside of blue man group, its just youtube worried about copyrighting so they just remove it, however I will reload the video station Music (c) Blue Man Productions 2009 and see if it makes a difference. I saw this at the Venetian a few years ago and the entire persistence of vision thing has stuck with me. Amazing atmosphere I couldn't believe what it was like.
Saw them four times over the years… One traveling company, and three different times in Vegas at different casinos. Their show was always fantastic, and never the same! Very entertaining… Highly recommend it. Even though this clip is from about 13 years ago, they probably will do this song when you see them. It’s one of their more popular ones

I saw them in Chicago. I sat in the front row and we were told we would get splattered with paint so none of my friends wore panchos. During the twinkie skit I sat in front of one of them and I was drenched in grounded bananas. Everyone else hardly had anything on them. Needless to say, I had wash myself five times when I got back to the hotel and still wasn't completely clean. I loved every minute of it, though. One of the coolest things I've ever experienced.
my band teacher said when he was in college, he took a 6 week course in biology, and in those 6 weeks he just learned that you have things in ur eyes that do certain things and thats how you can see. after watching this video he understands it completly lol

Greatest show I've ever seen! Saw them live at the Venetian back in January or February I don't remember. Any chance I get to see them again I will for sure. I suggest it to anyone. Lots of comedy in the show actually.

The first time i saw them was in 5th grade after the TAKS test in Math class. They were awesome so i would watch them all the time.
