I was blessed to first listen to many of Ronnie Radke's best hits and because of that, it gave me a weird feeling hearing one of his older songs like this one. It's not that the song is bad. It's actually pretty solid and catch as shit! Especially the chorus.. but after hearing and reacting to Ronald, Popular Monster, Watch The World Burn, including Watch The World Burn Live, and a few others.. it makes this one just feel so damn soft! If it wasn't for the fact that I've already heard most of his best hits, I would've probably enjoyed this one much more! It's still a solid song overall though. There were just a few things that made it feel a bit weird. I'm just waking up and this chorus was stuck in my head! I also enjoy the dance type vibe it has! "IM NOT READY TO CHANGE!" ❤
I'm going to start by saying I appreciate your honesty. Some reactions I watch have people finding amazing things in every song in every video they watch, so the fact that you're coming at this in full honesty is highly appreciated. Secondly, I'm of the mindset that just about everything Ronnie radke puts out (post emo phase) has been absolutely breathtakingly flawless. At the same time, you've seen falling in reverse at their Apex of perfection, so going back to older songs, you're not experiencing his evolution, but are witnessing a devolution. Just my thoughts. I enjoy your content, keep it up.
Yea I started at the wrong end! I've already listened to some of Ronnie's greatest songs so it was a bit weird going back and listening to one like this. If I hadn't been blessed with Ronald, Popular Monster, Watch The World Burn, and several other top songs by FIR, I definitely would've appreciated this one even more. I do still dig it though! I listened to it quite a few times after recording my reaction to it and I was right.. it's one of those songs that grows on you! Guilty pleasure!
I just found you today by your Hi Ren reaction (Yes, I'm a Renegade). I looked at your channel and subscribed because I like many of the artists you cover. This song is the second video I'm watching on your channel because I also love FIR. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see a reactor giving their HONEST reaction! Even though I love a particular artist, I don't expect everyone else to feel the same. It seems to me that most, if not all, reactors have nothing but positive things to say about every video they react to because they are afraid they will lose subscribers if they don't "candy coat" everything. But reactions are just that, reactions! That includes the good and the bad. We can gain knowledge or get ideas by listening to others' opinions. So far, I enjoy your reactions and the way you tell bits about why you like or don't like a particular tidbit in a video. People also feel connected to a reactor when they share short stories of their life experiences in their reactions. It makes it more personal. Keep being YOU and your channel will continue growing!
This one definitely grows. Felt similar to you when I heard a few years ago. I really like it now. There is a live version of this and losing my life in last Vegas. Fyi. After seeing both they both became a lot more enjoyable to me.
If nobody else has mentioned it this entire trilogy is a metaphor for killing off his addiction. And also you’ll probably like part three the best, I hope you watch it unspoiled because there’s a pretty amazing feature that I think you’ll get a kick out of
99% of the time when I record a reaction I have no clue what I'm about to be getting into and my reactions are completely improv! There's only been one or two that I got about a 30 second sample for before agreeing to record a reaction to it. 🫡
Losing my life and drugs are daily listens for me. Without fail. The videos are insane as usual. Your right on the listening a few times. This was the very first song imo where he changed things up completely and began to change into what he is now. Order next losing my life , ,drugs. Enjoy. 👍
Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, and Drugs ("The Trilogy") are all about his struggle with heroin addiction and his internal struggle to get and stay clean. Lots of metaphor and symbolism is this set of songs, and well worth reacting to all three. This one was not my favorite the first time I heard it, either, but it does grow on you. Watch the other two and you'll see it come together. Make sure you watch them all to the end...the logo comes up in all three...or you'll miss important parts of the story.
Same! In the reaction it gave me some weird vibes.. but I played it several times after the reaction and it's not a bad song at all. Catchy as hell! Still had fun playfully bashing it a bit though lol
The girl represents a spoon and the black goo is black tar heroine. It's about his addiction. It's the first part of a trilogy. Next is Losing My Life, then Drugs.
One of this biggest fans of Bone Thugs on earth! My first ever concert was Bone Thugs when I was 10 years old! It was the first time I ever smelled weed before! In my eyes Eternal 1999 was one of the best rap albums of all time!
@ Bone Thugs was the first hip hop that I was ever exposed to. My cousin had gotten E. 1999 right when it came out and he was babysitting me and as soon as I heard “execution double nine style” I listened to Da Introduction like 50 times. I was 7 lol. I don’t like everything they’ve ever done but that album is God Tier for me
@@Deja_drew01 FUCK YEAH! "Gotta kill kill know when I rhyme.. can't get away from my shotgun!" Mo Murda is still better than 99% of all rap songs to ever be released! The beat still stands out today as one of the best! I can quote so many Bone songs.. hell I can literally rap most of their classics front to back.. word for word! They were one of my biggest inspirations as to why I got into making rap music!
Next is “losing my life” and third is “drugs” to complete the trilogy. This is my least favorite of the 3. 6 I’d say is a fair rating. Curious what the other songs will get!
I think because you've reacted to a lot of his newer stuff, you've seen him at his best. So going back to this older stuff, it's definitely not hitting like Watch The World Burn. This is more popish. And the auto tune part kinda threw me off. But I thinks it's a pretty good song. I had a feeling that you wouldn't like this one that much. The trilogy gets progressively better, because he's grown as an artist as he made them. But none of the trilogy hits like Watch The World Burn or Prequel.
This is definitely my least favorite song from "modern" Falling in Reverse. I get what you are saying about there's something weird about the rapping and had the same feeling when first listening to it, now it's just okay but still the least favorite. Think Ronnie was still establishing his "new sound" with this one, it only gets better with each song released after though. At the same time, going back to his era before this with the album 'Coming Home' is pretty great. Pretty different form the music he does now but still some really good songs on there.
Like Ronnie says if you haven't grown as a person in a decade and a half, there's something very wrong! Listening to Falling's current songs and going backwards is kinda twisted! His growth is phenomenal!

Hey low.
Hiya
Howdy y'all
You must do the next 2 from the trilogy
Losing my life(NEXT)
Drugs(last)
I thought the same thing about this song…. Eeeehhh
@@marioraudales8023 I planned on it. :)

Yep!! Pt 1 of the Trilogy!! Love all three parts - pt 3 is my favorite!! Even though you didn't like it I hope you continue to watch the next 2 parts.

Not something I would actively seek out to replay but I wouldn't turn it off 🤷♀️ it's not the worst thing.

@Mista808 they both slap harder than this one..and the videos in order are sick 👍 Thank you as always dude.

@@loryman10 which one is you favourite song from trylogy? 🙂
@JulitaPio I like them all for different reasons, but I think Losing My Life is my favorite, with Drugs a close second.
The trilogy took a while to grow on me. Whereas, Popular Monster and others were instant hits with me.
I started liking this song after a few listens. It's not FIR's best song, that's true, but I like screaming out loud with Ronnie in the chorus😊

“Everybody’s always gotta bring up my past” sounds just like something Bizzy would throw down

🔥🔥🔥 song, not a song from FIR I don’t like
