Dont take this as hate your video was really well made and i mostly enjoyed it but its a bit pathetic to just let an artist insult his fanbase and praise him for it

Even if all the other accusations would be wrong, it shows what a type of a human he is and that he should not be supported. Which is a shame as he is incredibly talented. And I really love the music of FIR. And I am not telling you, you are not allowed to support him, telling anybody such thing is none of my business, but I don’t feel comfortable supporting him anymore after I went to the show in Berlin in 2024. All those arguments about „separate the singer from their music“ are taken down by the production with were all centered about Ronnie. It felt like FIR is not a band it’s just one guy with some locals filling gaps on stage it doesn’t look that empty. 🥲

Ronnie said that the law has changed, the law he was going by was 10 years since the incarceration and that they got word that the laws have changed. I have actually spoken to friends in the UK that have verified this is true. They were disappointed but understood the situation was not Ronnie or the bands fault cuz they had submitted the proper info and things changed fairly recently
For Budapest the tickets were sold out in minutes, and there were already complains about how small the avenue is for them (like the flames are higher than the place itself etc.). I could buy two tickets for me and a friend, but they cancelled the show so we requested a refund (got back the money with no issues though). I've been in that avenue many times and it's really "small" for bigger bands, but it's also not a real building just a huge "tent", which might have been an issue for them as well.

Lol you can literally watch any video of him and see his huge disconnect from his fans or normal people. But idc what hes loke personaly i still listen to his music. However they would have known, the question is though, or the one that I would like to know... When did his management tell him? Are they strategically stirring the shit from behind the scenes? I think I'm going to petition whoever is in charge of the visa department to disclose the dates the visas were applied for and when they gave their decision. I wonder if I could get them to do that via some freedom of information act request? 😅
My personal opinion on the uk tour, as far as I know it doesn’t sound like any research was done by the tour manager to see what laws were in place here which should have been a priority when they were booking venues in the uk but I don’t know much about what the tour team did in terms of making sure that ronnie was able to get in, did Ronnie tell the tour manager about his prison time prior to him coming to the UK? Like there’s a lot of factors involved

What I am saying is that, the fact that the UK does not let in people who have been sentenced to and served more than 12 months in prison is weird because the sentence one get for a crime and what even is a crime varies hugely around the world. Also, meanwhile the UK has had few problems with letting in a crowd of people with no documentation.
Tbh I believe that the size of a venue might be an issue just for his ego but not practically, because you can ALWAYS just upgrade the venue. Just like MIW did with Krakow etc. Also what I really didn't like about his response on stream was how full of himself he acted and refused to even make a proper apology. I get he's tired of it but he does insert himself in it at times. Also when Noah did cancel due to his mental health sure there were some fans being completely supportive but the mass amounts of comments I saw of people being pissed about it far outweighed the supportive comments same thing just happened with Phil Boseman of WhiteChapel his mental health was not doing well so they had to cancel shows and yes there was some support but so many people in the comments being mad about it. On the topic of people that get pissed over artists cancelling shows over being sick or having vocal issues their voice is their business. Going on tour and singing every night for hours with maybe one day off in between is so strenuous on your vocal chords. I get people get excited to see their favorite artist love but some fans need to be more understanding when cancellations happen.
Disclaimer: this is TLDR and I like FIR and had tickets for London. and FIR and Ronnie has a lot of fans that just agree with and love everything he says and does and the man can do no wrong.... but unfortunately thats far from the truth. The issue here is unprofessionalism nobody should be selling out or even announcing a tour before they have made sure they are able to even visit the country first. laws changing isn't uncommon and this is a detail that directly effects Ronnie and should have been looked over first. the law changed in 2020 and the tour was organised, booked and announced in 2024 so its not as though this slipped under the carpet last second and demonstrates a lack of basic due diligence. I think the reason this has happened is arrogance, I believe Ronnie has let these big arena shows go to his head... it was all he spoke about on social media for months and I think he thought he would turn up in the uk and say "look guys, im a big deal ive sold out all the arenas" and the guy looked at him and said I don't have a F**king clue who you are, but you have served time in prison abroad... automatic DECLINE and sent him on his merry way. Now is this Ronnie, his team, both ? who knows but this entire tour across uk and Europe has been managed at an amateur level at best with massive logistic and visa issues that have caused fans to lose money on travel, hotels, trains, planes and currently the tour in the uk is "postponed" ? well it isnt is it,.. its cancelled the law is not going to change to accommodate essentially a nobody the queen HERSELF had to allow snoop dog into the country. The Australia tour is all but certain to be cancelled given they have even stricter rules than the uk when it comes to criminals getting a visa, who will he blame that time ? because any sane person after being told to do one from the uk would get straight on making sure the visa is sorted for Australia NOW so they can cancel the tour in good time if they have to instead of a week before.

Its hard you know, umm. Yes he has a good voice, and he does play amazing shows. Its just that the members do change and the sound is hardly consistent. Its very much on the pop side of metal, he always was. In essence how the pop punk scene is. So in short what makes a band unique is its sound, regardless of the singer its just very grand falling in reverse. I think they need to rediscover themselves as an identity in an album. Just a few songs to say this is who we are.. now. where we are now. Because I am kind of lost in the saga.
That's kind of the issue with him creatively- dude doesn't really have a direction. He hasn't grown really. He's doing the same stuff he was doing in 2010, just slightly different. I stanned the guy hard in ETF and even while he was in prison. TDIMIY was bad but I listened to it on repeat anyway. The issue here is unprofessionalism nobody should be selling out or even announcing a tour before they have made sure they are able to even visit the country first. laws changing isn't uncommon and this is a detail that directly effects Ronnie and should have been looked over first. the law changed in 2020 and the tour was organised, booked and announced in 2024 so its not as though this slipped under the carpet last second and demonstrates a lack of basic due diligence.
I think the reason this has happened is arrogance, I believe Ronnie has let these big arena shows go to his head... it was all he spoke about on social media for months and I think he thought he would turn up in the uk and say "look guys, im a big deal ive sold out all the arenas" and the guy looked at him and said I don't have a F**king clue who you are, but you have served time in prison abroad... automatic DECLINE and sent him on his merry way.
Now is this Ronnie, his team, both ? who knows but this entire tour across uk and Europe has been managed at an amateur level at best with massive logistic and visa issues that have caused fans to lose money on travel, hotels, trains, planes and currently the tour in the uk is "postponed" ? well it isnt is it,.. its cancelled the law is not going to change to accommodate essentially a nobody the queen HERSELF had to allow snoop dog into the country.
The Australia tour is all but certain to be cancelled given they have even stricter rules than the uk when it comes to criminals getting a visa, who will he blame that time ? because any sane person after being told to do one from the uk would get straight on making sure the visa is sorted for Australia NOW so they can cancel the tour in good time if they have to instead of a week before.

@ Oh what!? The Crowbar must’ve bought the venue then as we also played at the Crowbar a few times and it wasn’t at The Zoo venue at the time haha. Interesting. Crowbar must’ve decided to expand. I’ve lived in Japan for the last 5 years, so I’m out of the loop with the Brissy venue scene. Last I played, The Tempo was still one of the biggest venues at the time. Supposedly that shut down a while ago also? We also played at The Tivoli a few times, though that’s not really Brisbane, but that is a super awesome Venue!

Its hard you know, umm. Yes he has a good voice, and he does play amazing shows. Its just that the members do change and the sound is hardly consistent. Its very much on the pop side of metal, he always was. In essence how the pop punk scene is. So in short what makes a band unique is its sound, regardless of the singer its just very grand falling in reverse. I think they need to rediscover themselves as an identity in an album. Just a few songs to say this is who we are.. now. where we are now. Because I am kind of lost in the saga.
That's kind of the issue with him creatively- dude doesn't really have a direction. He hasn't grown really. He's doing the same stuff he was doing in 2010, just slightly different.
I stanned the guy hard in ETF and even while he was in prison. TDIMIY was bad but I listened to it on repeat anyway. Then the guy just started being a raging dickhead and I couldn't justify it anymore. Nowadays I check in and I'm like 'okay, same stuff but he's more of a dick and better production quality" lol.
