Very helpful video, it helped me install the same unit so thanks. I did the water feed differently - rather than blank off the hot inlet at the bottom of the cistern it's better to split the cold water pipe and feed both inlets. This way you a) don't effectively get a dead leg of pipework with potential for stagnant water or bacteria to develop, not healthy and b) you get even water pressure wherever the mixer tap is set between hot\cold limits. I also found using 500mm flexis on their own were long enough to connect in the cistern without needing to use two lengths of joined flexi pipe. It's tight fitting the sink but it can be done.
Hi.im glad that you found my video helpful and I think connecting bought conections with could water it's great and make sense. For the flexible I went crazy to find one long enough but non of the shops had it available.I wanted to be longer gist for maintenance purposes easier to take out the top side and check what it's happening in the cistern (soap hair etc.)
Where do you get a toilet tank sink combo? All the big box stores seem to be out of stock. Can't even order them. Other than Amazon, I can't order one! But the big box stores have retrofit Bidets in stock, but not these! I am near Joliet/New Lenox, IL USA.
Is the cistern connected directly to the mains or water goes into the cistern only through the tap? I Mean. before I flush I must fill the cistern with the water from the tap first
I couldn’t tell why you didn’t put it fully back against the wall? (you needed to do put in wooden packing). Also how you going to address that issue as water will be getting regularly splashed on it & u can’t really clean that. Next question is where are you going to put the bottle of soap? 😬😝
Hi. The soil pipe was on my right side quite far from the back wall when installing the pan conector wasn't space for it. It was a very small space to put it in without squeezing in it. That's way I installed a flexible pan conector and the toilet away from the wall. If you ask someone to install a toilet, what in this world has to do with the cleaning and with the soap???
For me it is one of the great inventions of the last decade in Mexico this technology has not yet arrived and Latin America to educate take value from water
I was just curious about a few things with toilets like this because I MIGHT be having one put in to my wet room. As I have ocd and can't use small toilet room, as I have OCD. U was just wondering even if for my own reassurance, it is clean watet that you wash your hands with right? In my head I was getting a little worried in case it was like washing your hands with toilet water, the sink part has nothing to do with the toilet part yeah? Other than bein connected to save space. Didn't know how else to ask this question without sounding stupid, sorry. But I just wanted reassurance that it's definitely clean as it would be with a normal separate sink...
Hi ..the flush valve has a red bit with different positions on it ...should you keep the same position or change it..Do these change the flow of the water..
@@How2Extreme what position do you use that increases the amount of water in the cistern ?I feel there's enough water for the flush . I am having to flush about 3 times ..would appreciate your reply.
Personally, I would have thrown the basin plug away as the basin does not have an overflow. You don't need to fill the basin with water to wash your hands and kids will be kids and leave the tap running then you will have one big flood in the toilet and that would not be good. Also, I would have linked the cold to the hot so that the tap would work either way.

Great!! Quick question- some people would do gargle whlie brushing teeth in the sink and there's always some water in the toilet after flushing. That leftover flushed water might stink.
