    Good job Graham👍🏻. It's a very dangerous practice to tidy up the garage or shed, some things are lost forever.

    Great video 👍🏼 in regards to what you said about doing the tighter areas with a microfibre cloth then going on to say it didn’t do anything… I read somewhere that a waffle weave glass cloth makes a good hand application for polish. Don’t quote me though iv never tried it.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Jamie!, that’s a great shout about the waffle weave, I’ll need to give that a try!
      Jim White uses a cut down microfibre cloth to do behind door handles etc but I’d imagine it’s a compound he’s using rather than an all in one type product , more testing needed in this area I feel 👌

    I wash my pads out then spin them up full speed in an empty bucket good to go again but you need at least three to four 125mm pads and the same 75mm plus a nano polisher or something similar for the small stuff nice video Graeme

    Brilliant job Graeme, didn't disappoint in the slightest. I've said for years, Farécla's polishes are very underrated - their cutting compounds were the first I used and I still think they're up there with the best.
    You said yourself, the paint isn't perfect, but it was never going to be - an all in one has its limits but the results were fantastic, your mum must be smiling like Cheshire cat 😺
    Cracking video as always mate, keep it up 👍🏼

    AIO’s don’t get much attention but if you have a uncared for car that needs some shine back they are perfect 🤩
    Great cut with the rupes and that pad too interesting to see how much difference the machine and pad makes more than the product.

    • @GMDetails

      Just the pad alone? I think considering the wing with a very soft pad still had quite a few swirls left I think the G3 blue pad was deffo working some magic too 🙌🏻

      what put me off having a go with a machine polisher,
      was when people state it needs to be 3 different polishes to achieve this result etc,
      you’ve used one machine and one polish which gave great results simplified it, keep up the great videos buddy it’s appreciated for sure 👌

    Looks like a fantastic product! Left the Corsa in really good shape. I've a bottle of the turtle wax hybrid solutions all in one polish to try out but I think I might grab a bottle of the farecla to do a side by side 👍👍

    @paul6749 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great result Graeme! Looks a user friendly product. How long did the wash/decon/polish take (if you take out the filming set-up time). Slightly confused by the product being called an all-in-one. I thought AIOs are meant to cut, polish AND leave a layer of protection? I see the Farecla website says the product prepares the paint for sealing or waxing - so is it a true AIO?

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Paul, all together probably 7 hrs from start to finish , ah yes I read that too about the polish but didn’t have time to test out if it left any protection behind , that’s why I went for the ceramic QD as it was getting so late, it really should leave some protection to be called an AIO 🤔
      It won’t be the first and only time using this so I’ll play around with it and post results on Instagram if you follow gm_details there 👍

      @@GMDetails Thanks for that can you recommend what products you have used ? . They dont seem to do 5 litre bottles ?

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they’re only relaunching with 500ml & 1L options at the moment , I’ve yet to use the TFR or the Citrus as a pre wash but the snowfoam gives a very good dwell time which will work perfectly with a citrus cleaner under it if you need a strong combo for winter grime.
      Absolutely love the jelly bean shampoo, only shampoo I’ve used that can stick while using it in the snowfoam lance
      The wheel cleaner being a gel is a little tricky to apply via the trigger & being RTU isn’t my favourite but works well enough.
      Fallout remover is excellent & possibly the cheapest around atm and to finish the car off the Ceramic QD is really so easy to use and just adds the finishing touch, hope that helps mate

    • @michaelbaker9590
      @michaelbaker9590 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GMDetails Thanks Graeme for the tips .I just watched Paul Dolden using Garage therapy zero decon shampoo as a wheel cleaner ,snow foam and shampoo . Im all for value for money what do you think or do you like to use individual products ?

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use zero decon for lots of jobs, it’s excellent in many dilutions , I hate when a brand diluted a product making it ready to use , so you’re mainly buying water, that’s not on at all!!
      I don’t think there is a rival to GT Decon shampoo, it does so much so very well but there is also an argument to not using such strong chemicals on every wash , it’s also part of the enjoyment using different things, that’s why even GT has dedicated products for maintenance rather than deep cleaning every time

    Another good video, thank you. I bet you were gutted when you couldn't locate the 3" pads! I'm yet to machine polish, although I'm ready to go, I have a DA8 from In2Detailing and some Megs UC, I just haven't built the courage yet 🤭. The black Polo has minor marks and swirls so I thought megs would be OK for that. However, I've not got pads yet, would those Ferecla pads be a good pad to pair up with the UC? Would the blue one be too firm or should I go a little softer? Sorry for all the questions. All the best to you.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Lee!, yeah I have recently bought a 7’ plastic shed and it’s dominating the garage atm and I cannot move for it 😤
      Just looked on In2detailing website and the DA8 comes with a 5” and 3” backing plate so yes the Farecla pads will be ok to use with it , firmness of pads isn’t the issue (I did think the same as it feels like flower oasis 🤣) , I can only advise based on how the car looks and if it looks the same as the Corsa I’d say go for the blue , get a couple of them so you can switch, they also do a softer pad also available on Amazon and I’d recommend getting a couple of them too so you can finish down if the finish looks a bit hazy.
      Pad choices are something you don’t select by ‘will that do?’ It really all depends on the test area like I did to establish if the pad/polish combo works, hope that helps mate

    • @decker0373
      @decker0373 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GMDetails thanks so much for the response, I appreciate that. No, the car isn't half as swirly as the Corsa was, so now I'm thinking something more like a medium cut with the UC. Out of curiosity, what's your pad of choice brand?

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not that experienced that I have a favourite really , I go between wool, microfibre and foam, SGCB pads are actually decent for the money, I’m always trying new ones and more recently it was the Honey Combination pads , but I do have a soft spot for chemical guys hex logic pads , that’s what I started out with

    Thanks Graeme do you think autoglanz spritzer is better than bilt hamber surfex and valet pro citrus pre wash ?

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm well Spritzer is 100% better than Valet Pro Citrus, Carbon Collective, Infinity Wax, Gtechniq, EZ Car Care, Auto Finesse, STJÄRNAGLOSS, Dodo, Autobrite, many many more , Surfex is a completely different chemistry and I’m only just getting to grips with its uses, but I’d put both on a par but Surfex has far more uses then Spritzer

      At home, Surfex 1:50 (with a few drops of fragrance oil) has replaced flash, Cillit bang, Method etc etc. Use to pre-soak your pans, porridge bowl, coffee mugs, etc, clean toilets, shower, tables, floors, plastics, metals, tiles, etc.
      At 1:10 it tackles winter road grime on your car and wheels with ease, engine bay, and baked on sausage fat (not in a car, you hear), bicycle. Going to try 1:20 in summer use.
      1:1 it'll totally clean everything on a bicycle (chain, jockey wheels, derailleurs). I used to use Gunk but that stains tarmac(?????)
      It truly is the most versatile cleaner I know of. It's superb. And apparently environmentally friendly, if that interests you.
      Hope this informs you of a few uses of Surfex. 😂
