- Today we're taking you south of the border to find answers to Why This Charming German Village in America called Leavenworth is worth Visiting. We've always heard great things about Leavenworth and how it gives you a whole Bavarian experience as soon as you step into the town. It's hard to believe that this place is only 2 hours away from Seattle WA which makes it the perfect day trip idea for someone looking to explore the beauty of Washington.
We'll also be showing you our experience on crossing the US/Canada border now that restrictions have relaxed. We're finally stepping into another country after 2 long years!

Wow, Leavenworth looks amazing! I've always wanted to visit towns like this in the US or Canada! And I've always said to myself that Seattle is the Vancouver of the US. Just went there today and it's a pretty nice area lots of neat shops, and me as a dragon lover they got a lot of dragon stuff love this place

I've been visiting Leaven worth since the early 70s, after they started making it a Bavarian themed village.
It can be cute - and lots of gift shops. Frequent weekend events. If you drink - there are beer gardens and wineries. They seem to be taking over.
That’s amazing! We saw some of the restaurants and pubs for drinking, but we were more inclined to visiting the souvenir stores😊 One thing we wish would have seen was the reindeer farm🙂

The shape reminds me of a hot air balloon and your initials, NM, is also the abbreviation for another US state; New Mexico. Albuquerque, NM is host to the world's largest balloon Fiesta, which takes place the first week of October every year.

you want xmas its beautifuil there and in november they do a xmas lighting where they turn the lights on in the whole town i use to play hacky sack in the gazbo there lol

@@NatandMax we're flying from England to Vancouver then flying to Calgary .. then renting an RV to drive round Banf and places you shown :)
Then we fly to Seattle 😂 then after a few days we get the Amtrack train to Los Angeles then to Disneyland
And finally driving to San Diego for a few days then fly home :)
For just over 3 weeks :)

Although perhaps you've already been there since you've been to Pike's Place. Their mac and cheese is the creamiest, cheesiest mac ever 😋
We have! We can’t believe how creamy that mac and cheese was. We should have taken some home🤤 We have that part on the next video😊 Sad the reindeer farm was closed when we visited Leavenworth🦌 we’ll definitely have to be back sometime during the next holiday season❤️

Hi guys! Glad I found this vlog. I have been planning to go visit Leavenworth this summer. Did you guys just visit for a day? Or would you suggest to stay overnight?
Hi Tiffany!👋 We stayed in Seattle overnight and just drove to Leavenworth for a day trip🙂 Leavenworth was a little booked up when we visited and the hotels were a little expensive😅 The drive isn’t bad if you just wanted to do a day trip but if you stayed overnight you get to see all the pretty lights✨
Leavenworth you can see all the sights in a day, but if you wanted to stay longer and it's all booked up, there is a medium sized town called Wenatchee, WA about 40 minutes away. It's not Bavarian themed but closer than Seattle, and no passes.

Hi there! I'm actually travelling with my girlfriend to vancouver. We're from Manitoba but are going to vancouver for a vacation. Would it be possible to just purchase some covid tests and bring them with you across the border? Instead of using that telehealth service?
