There should be an augment that is super rare to get but it either allows you to swap with anybody or shuffle all the teams up. Nobody gets there comps anymore.
About the Jeweled gauntlet, it seems to not proc on damage over time effects (like Morgana's W) because there already is another augment that makes items and DoT effects crit. So it was only procing on the Morg's Q.
I think Chaffeur was for the wrong person. Would have been good on Morgana though. I'm curious what would happen when Nunu ults though. Would he drop temporarily or would it follow him?

ability crit works for hits only I think. the other one gives you item and dot crit

Incorrect, it procs for everything, this is easily testable as you can see dots crit on target dummies in game.
