I have the same suppressor, cleaned it today with a 8hr soak in CLR then a soapy water bath. Wiped them dry and the look 100% new, give that a try. Super easy.

Sweet thanks for the advice. I have shot another thousand or so since this cleaning so it’s about time I clean it again. I’ll try your method. Have an awesome day: thanks to watching and commenting.

@@jacobs4341 oh yea. I always clean something with a massive amount of lead outside. This video was shot outside.

Bore tech c4 for the carbon. Mix white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide 50/50 in a glass jar for the lead. The jar will become poisonous and if ingested or absorbed into the skin or not doing it outside, you'll probably die but it dissolves all the lead and works decent on the carbon. You can only use it on the baffles not the tube or end cap. I fish the baffles out with a long plastic hook pick, outside with lab glasses and the lab level yellow gloves. The jar can clean your baffles 3x then you wait for a free hazmat collection day. I wish there was a safe way to recover the lead but there isn't for non chemists.

I prefer hoppes number 9. Substantially less toxic and works %100. Thanks for the tip though. And thanks for watching and commenting: sorry I never saw your comment till now.

What did you soak them in?
