Just popped onto this from your short. There was no reception, car park or open or closing times when we visited 17 years ago in our van. We sort of stumbled on it. We were blown by how unexpected it all was. We stayed two or three nights. The sunsets and the nigh sky were the most incredible we've ever seen. We expected to see cowboys appearing over the hills. There was a swing in the garden of the little cottage you passed just after 7 mins and i had a lovely time swinging on it. Great memories. Lots more videos I'll be popping up in the comments as we travelled to many of the same places.
Wow that must have been a special time to have visited! -what a great experience 😊👍🏻. We actually got to ride through the film set of once upon a time in the west -there was nobody there and we asked the guy running the place 🤠. Here’s the playlist in case you want to see them in order 👍🏻 th-cam.com/play/PLl_mRzVHVQ0yRXu9qeZuZWnHoS1KQV7_8.html&si=yNy-69Sklixeq7Tt
back in 2003 I bough a 2002 BMW GS 650 Dakar, just that year of 2003, I rode my bike througout California and Arizona, and I put 17000 miles in 9 months, I was living my dream of eternitly riding with the wind on my face...that park in Spain reminded me of California Borrego Springs !...today I only wish I can do the same after my retirement... you guys are owesome !
Hey buddy!!! That sounds awesome! I once borrowed a friends GS in California but just for a few days, I loved it there and hope to get to do a road trip there again someday so I can only imagine the fun you must have had! It’s funny even though I haven’t been to monument valley etc it inspired me to go! 😊 thanks ever so much for your comment it’s a real encouragement, hope to hear from you again sometime 😎🙌🏻
What another fantastic video , never heard of this part of Spain , love your style , my ears pricked up when you said dad lived in North Wales do most of my riding there since 1959 one of the best places on earth imho, stay safe , GL
Hi GL, thanks so much for your kind words! -it's most appreciated. Yes that's right we are originally form North Wales =) We need to get back there and make some videos of our favorite roads and destinations! Happy to take you along with us on our journeys and hopefully hear form you again soon , all the best S&E
It's a perfect location for 2up touring and the GSA is the ideal bike for it. Thanks for your comment and we hope you enjoy the rest of the series. All the best S&E
Hey you two.. another really nice film.. can't wait until Friday when I leave... need to hear from you, which sound setup you use for your camera. would like to get rid of wires on the helmet
Hi, thanks very much -really glad you liked it and great to hear your feedback. We are using the DJI Wireless Microphones however due to the flip up lids we still need to use a wired microphone to the transponder -however there is no wire from the camera to the helmet. Hope that helps -here is a detailed list of our equipment. seanandemilytravels.com/equipment
Thanks, well you have to stick to the tracks which are mostly gravel as it is a national park with sone military areas too. But there’s plenty of tracks to have fun on, we didn’t do all of it this day just the part with the best sights. There’s no entrance fee either so you can come and go as you please. Guessing it’s closed at night though.
Thanks! It was a trip highlight for sure. No , there is no charge to get into the park and you are free to ride around as much as you want, you just need to leave an hour or so before the sunsets. =)
Hi Emily here, i find it super comfortable. We have the OEM seat (heated version) and we do 800km days on it without any complaints. I would say a back box is essential to being comfortable and i really like the Touratech Backrest as it's a lot thicker than the BMW one. If you test ride one be sure to have the correct settings on the suspension as dynamic can sometimes be hard on the bumpy roads (set riding mode to rode and then the damper to ROAD/AUTO. Also if you do go for it don't be tempted to get the pannier extenders as then leave no room for the legs to sit on top -better go with rack pack soft bags on top of the panniers. I hope that helps if you need any more info feel free to ask. (best to make a new comment as sometimes we miss reply replies)
Hope you enjoyed the video .....Here is the location of the visitors centre at the entrance to the park: 42.179432410712444, -1.5330590361045258 (put it in google maps) 👍

What a great place to ride, what handlebar bag are you using as I'm looking for recommendations
It was amazing!! We are using the Ibarra smart bag from Touratech, it’s been great!

Nice video. Can you go off-road, or do you have to stick to the roads?

What a spectacular ride!!!! I had no idea this was in Spain. Also the bike looks awesome! Is there an entrance fee to the park?

What is Emilys opinion of the GSA pillion comfort? Me and my wife do a lot of 2 up riding and we are considering a 1250gs
