You're a brave man Sean. Those roads out of Mumbai were certainly not for the faint-hearted! Great to see you both receiving such a welcome and good wishes from BMW Motorrad Mumbai. Looking forward to your next upload. Take care.
Your average speeds will be much lower than what youre used to in Europe for sure so factor that in when you plan your end of day stops! This is amazing....all the best for this epic trip!
Favourite phrases: There's a cow coming... Where's my horn, I'm gonna need that. Emily: Where's my horn (naughty) Whacky Races - I'd suggest Dastardly and Mutly. Eeeeek! Get in the slipstream of this Hyundai...OMG 🤣 Bike name suggestion: Rambo 😀 What great entertainment. Love you guys.
If you ever come towards the North-Eastern part of India and come across the roads through wildlife sanctuaries, you might see wild elephants, rhinos, porcupine etc on the road.
Have fun. And Sean is already adapting to the Indian traffic code. Oh and Emily is your second horn, which warns for monkies and tuktuks 😂. Ride and stay safe.😎👍
Edge of your seat stuff....I was nervous for you both...The Rds look bonkers....like anything goes...well done for surviving so far...still don't know how you cope with the jackets in the heat...I find myself wearing body Armour with mesh in the summer in Cornwall when it hits 22°c....😂
Hi sean and emily, very friendly bmw dealership, The Indian drivers/riders are mad, emily hit the nail on the head when she said whacky races, you are braver than me riding out there, my hair is already white so at least it wouldn't change colour 😅, I guess emily didn't have the heated seat on, it's a bit warmer than the uk in December, Take care both of you, Best wishes Roy in England 👍😊.
1. Your intuition will play a huge role on this ride. 2. Don’t shy away from beeping like a maniac. 3. Wear a N95 mask because the dust is unavoidable 4. Use hand signals when possible, people respond to it. 5. An amazing highway might have sudden and huge potholes or speed bumps so try to stay within 100 kmph
Best wishes. Maintain distance from other vehicles is best option in India. many drivers are just wild. BTW Ride in speed limit else small lady might be flying like super man behind you . haha Marc Travels also went travelled on elecric bike. he had great time. get tips from his videos. Regards from New Delhi
They sure are, we found keeping a distance but in front was the safest 😂 Yeah Marc has been having the time of his life in India and must know it better than most 😎
Think you’re extremely brave riding in that traffic….mind you if you ever do find yourself doing a similar tour in vietnam - it’s 10x worse 😬 it’s just the chaos is a bit more organised 😂
Hey Sean & Emily. So glad you're doing India, I can reminisce for a trip I did decades ago. Okay it obviously won't be the trans Himalayan route that I was hoping for (yet 😉), but it'll still be great to see the South again, I really hope that you both have a brilliant trip. I have this feeling that you've your eyes set on a certain motorcycle factory in Chennai before the rest of TN & Kerala, but I don't expect any spoilers, so don't worry 😉. Be safe and looking forward to coming along for the virtual ride. Regards. James (the guy you never tooted to when you passed his farm on The Wild Atlantic Way) 😜. x.
Hi James! The trans Himalayan route will have to wait for another trip (but something to look forwards to). Hope you enjoy the series! We will stop and say hello next time for sure! 😉
That was really nice I am 70 now and used to drive all over the world . Really hope you have a great trip look out for theses damn monkeys they will destroy your camp, car or what every.
Nice to hear form you, you must have countless stories and wonderful experiences to share 😎. We will watch out for those monkeys for sure .....sounds like you are speaking form experience 😊
Wow 🙀 that was something special 😊. It was funny when Em was worried that people wouldn’t know you were foreigner because you had a indian bike 😂. For sure they knew because no one overthere rides a 1250 😊. These are crazy roads full of bumps, cracks and big holes breathing dust and diesel 😮and as soon as you give an inch someone Will take it. I think you should call your bike Ulysses because this trip Will turn into an Odyssey really quickly 😂. Be careful and keep your head’s on a swivle. Can’t wait for the next vidéo 😊. Thanks for bringing us along ❤
Monkey joke. ong A guy walked into a bar with a monkey. The monkey grabbed some olives off the bar and ate them. Then he grabbed some sliced limes and ate them. He then jumped onto the pool table and grabbed one of the balls. To everyone’s amazement, he stuck it in his mouth and somehow swallowed it whole. The bartender looked at the guy and said, “Did you see what your monkey just did?” “No, what?” “He just ate the cue ball off my pool table - whole!” “Yeah, that doesn’t surprise me,” replied the guy, “he eats everything in sight, don’t worry, I’ll pay for the cue ball.” The guy finished his drink, paid his bill, paid for the stuff the monkey ate and left. Two weeks later the guy came back and had his monkey with him. He ordered a drink and the monkey started running around the bar. The monkey found a cherry on the bar. He grabbed it, stuck it up his butt, pulled it out and then ate it. Then the monkey found a peanut and again stuck it up his butt, pulled it out and ate it. The bartender asked, “Did you see what that filthy ape just did?” “No, what?” asked the man. “Well, he stuck both a cherry and a peanut up his arse, then he pulled them out and ate them.” “Yeah, that doesn’t surprise me,” replied the guy. “He’ll eat anything, but ever since he had to sh!t out that cue ball, he measures everything first.”
ive never noticed how small emily really is untill the start if this video 🤣 sorry i dont mean to offend shes really tiny a saddle bag could be bigger :)

Thanks for your concern! We’re definitely staying cautious and planning our routes carefully. Every place has its challenges, and we’re making safety a top priority while staying open to the adventure. Appreciate the advice!
@@SeanandEmilyYou can be cautious and have a travel plan, all National Highways are okay, won't be much trouble. Many people have travelled the length of the country on bikes, nothing should be off the charts but yea it's best to know prior, on where you plan to go and what are the things you want to do. Most of the time, word of caution is advised by the locals to prevent any kind of negative event, an accident, scam or whatever just bcs even a small incident brings lots of negative PR to the country, and only feeds the stereotypes which aren't always true. Exploration is a spirit, hoping you have a wonderful time whenever you travel to India in future and had a great time on this trip as well.
I watched the vid with my heart in my mouth. The trust you guys have in each other is amazing. Stay safe.

In comparison to the local motorcyclists you are over dressed.
