I love watching Bowen in PAPA competitions, but it seems he plays even better during these tutorials - which is great for those of us who come here to learn. Thanks, Bowen. So entertaining and generous.
I recently purchased a KISS LE on a whim . Bowen was hitting the " BackStage Pass " Scoop with excellent consistency . He stated that the Scoop protectors make the shot harder. This the best tip I learned . I took my " BackStage Pass " protector OFF . I am no Kerins but I almost felt as good of a player as the scoop shot I now hit successfully. Brings the fun back to the KISS pinball machine. I must add the humor about the KISS songs by Bowen was hilariously funny. I wonder if any of Bowen's Rhetoric is true !!!!
Fantastic tutorial. Amazing play! I've always like this game but also felt that it was missing something initially and that I was missing something later (esp as code evolved). I think it's a solid one and am glad you were able to provide such an in depth explanation.
Dude, your descriptions of what the songs are about are fucking killing me... holy shit..lmao. EDIT: The tennis one.... oh. my. god...I can't stop laughing..
Wow, who is this guy? Incredible ball control and crisp execution on almost every shot. Right down to that death save at the end only to die on a tilt more subtle than a baby's fart. Gene Simmons is a stain on humanity but you made this game look like a gift to pinball. Well done.
With the current codeyou can adjust so 2 songs on one ball get you 3x scoring... You also only need 4 instruments for heavens on fire now!! Also.. The multiball is called Love gun (it ain't about chewing gum)
I think this is one of Bowens/PAPA better tutorials. KISS continues to become one of my favorite modern Stern titles even though initially it didn't look that interesting. Yes the code could be more robust but still it's a rock solid game.
I actually saw KISS live in 1974! Tickets were $6. Hey, that was a lot for a kid in high school . . . Especially when you added the cost of a date, beer, weed and gasoline! I also played this game when it came out, but haven't seen it again until now.
I asked for this tutorial six months ago. Thanks for finally making both the tutorial and the embarrassment. I thought I was a big wheel for breaking 200 000 000.
Hi, on the table that I have access to "new track" in the backstage pass is not working. Ball is rejected immediately. Do you guys have seen similar problem?
Wow. What can I say amazing score. I cant get anywhere near those kind of scores. Quite amazing.- How on earth do you remember all the rules in such detail. I can master one or two machines but you must be like an encylcopedia of pinball machines by now.
Hey Bowen? How many games did it take before you put together a good one like this? Thanks a lot for the in depth description of whats going on. Will you be at Expo later this month?
Hi PAPApinball! My name is Tim Klaesson iam the swedish champion in the u16 class :) it means that iam swedish champion in the kid class under 16 years old! i think you are great at pinball :D
C'mon, Bowen. You don't have to do tutorials with a cold. Still a good one on a game I know little about, but still man. Don't beat yourself up like that. ;)
Yeah, I wasn't trying to be too serious about that. (Hence the 'wink' emote, must word these things better!). Regardless, you still had a stellar run on this game, and those are some hilarious puns you did there too.
what does mean "aie aie aie" at 19'37 !? lets admit its the same as in french ;) et donc merci Bowen pour cette nouvelle excellente vidéo, as always its very nice/funny/educative, even for non english native
How the heck are people supposed to be able to remember the rules to these dmd games? To me its sheer frustration and way too much work trying in vain to learn the rules.I have much more fun with easier to understand games from the 70's and 80's.I will play a dmd but just randomly shoot around as I just dont have the patience to study for hours trying to learn the rules.
on the rules, you have to do a little at a time. write a couple down``take them with you when you go to play the game and work on it. Come back after some time is under your belt and watch the (tut) again, but I understand patience to study for hours is real hard, however doing it in this manner will def help your progression quite a bit!
Just read the rulesheet online and look for how to start modes, how to get multiball and how to get extra balls. The rest is either irrelevant or it tells you on the dmd what to shoot for. 5-10 games of it and it becomes second nature.
Unbelievable question really. You really have to wonder about people sometimes, and the sense of entitlement they have, especially when they're watching something like this for FREE.
Bowen... I like your tutorials, but you have not listened to the songs... Lick it up is Not about stamps, Love gun is not about chewing gum, and Deuce is not a song about going to the bathroom!!
Am I the only one who likes bad dad humor? The stamp collection comment left me in stitches! Awesome video guys!
LOL! I came to the comments section to say this exact thing.. Even just the way he said it cracked me the fuck up.
Spyksaturn... YOU will love the humor in the new Elvira pin ( HOUSE of Horrors

I suspect he disables tilt.... I mean it seems unreal some of the ball saves, but then again, he probably doesnt, its just raw talent.

I was already rolling when I saw "Kiss Pinball Tutorial" being 30 plus minutes long.
"with a good high fire dibet"
What an honor to be a part of this!...I had to give back since B.Kerins' Tutorials have helped my game tremendously.
Great score and tutorial. That near-death save had my heart pumping.
Wow, who is this guy? Incredible ball control and crisp execution on almost every shot. Right down to that death save at the end only to die on a tilt more subtle than a baby's fart. Gene Simmons is a stain on humanity but you made this game look like a gift to pinball. Well done.
bowen kerins, hes been playing for years, he ALSO was ranked 1st in 2004.
With the current codeyou can adjust so 2 songs on one ball get you 3x scoring... You also only need 4 instruments for heavens on fire now!! Also.. The multiball is called Love gun (it ain't about chewing gum)
The dad-jokes had me rolling. Great play, great tutorial. Thanks Bowen.
My hometown Pittsburgh Pennsylvania!!! Kiss and Harlem Globetrotters on Tour is my favorite pinball machine all time by Bally.
Dude that was amazing, thanks for doing it. Great score and hilarious almost death save. It was funny when Bowen said "Fire Diebet"
I knew I screwed that up, but not this bad.
I think this is one of Bowens/PAPA better tutorials. KISS continues to become one of my favorite modern Stern titles even though initially it didn't look that interesting. Yes the code could be more robust but still it's a rock solid game.

You are the best papa. Explanation doing play makes everyone better pin player.
This is the funniest fucking video I've seen all week holy shit
LoL😄Lick it Up....~a song about licking Stamps
Lick It Up. A song about stamp collecting. Ha! So goon
Excellent video guys. Great commentary, editing.
Thanks! MHS does a great job with the editing, every time.
Can you double the Love Gun Super Jackpot by hitting a different shot first, or does it not count as double because it's a saucer shot?
Code has really improved on this game
I never knew Bowen was that much of a Kiss historian...wow...Behind the Music move over!
I asked for this tutorial six months ago. Thanks for finally making both the tutorial and the embarrassment. I thought I was a big wheel for breaking 200 000 000.
This must be the Premium! My friend owns the LE, and that version does not have a black cabinet!!
I can think he was a very good speaker even in a surf contest he is a good commentator
So this machine doesn’t have any LCD Minigames if I’m correct?
Does anyone else get a bill from Gene Simmons for playing this one and the Bally one?
Hi, on the table that I have access to "new track" in the backstage pass is not working. Ball is rejected immediately. Do you guys have seen similar problem?

Amazing game! And that ending..l ;). Trying to understand it a bit more here. I see 4 instruments on the playfield, where do you reconize the other 4?
wow you are so good player. i was good player in 1970's and i was able to play for 3 hours on one coin in
you're not allowed to play my machine.
I love gum
Hey Bowen? How many games did it take before you put together a good one like this? Thanks a lot for the in depth description of whats going on. Will you be at Expo later this month?
Incredible play as always!

What KISS table is this, KISS my arse, KISS 1979?
Love GUM!
It's love gun
@@raysans3367 You didn't watch the video...?
C'mon, Bowen. You don't have to do tutorials with a cold. Still a good one on a game I know little about, but still man. Don't beat yourself up like that. ;)
Once you've booked the flight and told the backers when you're doing it, there's no going back
Yeah, I wasn't trying to be too serious about that. (Hence the 'wink' emote, must word these things better!). Regardless, you still had a stellar run on this game, and those are some hilarious puns you did there too.
Happy to do it and happy to have such a supportive community, thanks!
What were those last songs about?
4:24 great single flip slap save.
You are awesome Bowen!!!!

what does mean "aie aie aie" at 19'37 !? lets admit its the same as in french ;)

Hi PAPApinball! I was wondering if you have an email I can contact you at?
We can be contacted through the e-mail button on the front page of papa.org.
PAPApinball Awesome, thanks! I just submitted an email via the website. It will be from gdayhaw@bbtvtalent.com

Something I realized: They spelled "Night" in "Rock & Roll All Night" as "Nite." Why is that? They have the room to spell it correctly.
Overhazard it is nite in song title
Stamp collecting!!!
Thanks for the video!!
31:17 Is that the O11CE series opening soundtrack?
Awesome 👍👍
Bummer!
why do you need people to give you money to film a game of pinball? The games and equipment are already there.
Games, equipment, travel, and editing aren't free.
Unbelievable question really. You really have to wonder about people sometimes, and the sense of entitlement they have, especially when they're watching something like this for FREE.

Anton, its his very dry sense or humour. He's just having a laugh.
Play them backwards and you'll see
Can you set the same song for the full game? Or will the game rotate through kiss songs?
