Thanks for the great video mate
I just got mine and i saw there was like a plastic film on the thermal pad and theres also a word on the bottom that says do not peel i dont know which it is refering to the plastic film or the thermal pad
Leave the film as is - just install the drive.
@@iftibashiri guess this is so that i doesn't leak over the ssd ?
A great review as always and a BIG thumbs up.
Thank you 🤗
Thanks for the video. Does it works with 2 partitions ?
You can partition and us the drive as you wish, the Dockcase manages the entire drive as one (ie reports the entire drive health status etc)
I have a Samsung galaxy s23 ultra, id be using it on there for backups & games, do i need to format it first on my computer?
AND the thermal paste sticker, looks likeres a plastic piece on it, just put it in the case as it is and leave it alone? Or do i remove the plastic piece (it looks like it'd be a sticker is why i ask
Yes that had me confused too! The plastic piece stays in place - it is not noted anywhere to remove it, and trying to remove it results in a bit of a mess - I tried!
As for your Samsung, yes you can format the drive in whichever format is supported by your phone.
have you tested the Dockcase it with a cable usb c to usb A ?
Nice review! Just got mine this morning and struggling to figure out how to record directly (using Blackmagic) or how to move files to it on my iphone 15 pro. Can anyone help please?
Make sure your SSD is inserted correctly - can it be used on your computer OK?
If so, ensure it is formatted etc for your phone. It should be viewable in the 'Files' app.....
@@iftibashir Thanks for the reply. It is inserted correctly. It must be the file type. I have an iPhone 15 pro, so I'm assuming it needs to be formatted to exFat? When I plug the dockcase into my laptop it doesn't appear in File Manager so I can't go right click and format it like I would normally. Any thoughts on this?
did you get it to work? I want to do the same with my S5iix
@@davidclark2476 yes, I had to format the drive to exfat. Connect the drive to your computer, go to Disk Management. Right click on your ssd and you should have the option to format. If you don’t, like me, I clicked ‘new simple volume’ and that set it up for me to format to exfat
I want one of these in a 40gbps
That would be nice!
can u give it me for free , i am witching all vides about ssd but idk have money😪😪
