I do not recommend taking the Soul Harvester from its associated quest; the trinket is much better, especially considering it will ALWAYS be useful for your character long after you would have replaced the staff.

Do not take the soul harvester. The trinket is better because it gives you a free shard in the form of voidwalker. You can put the pet on stay and run away from it and get a soul shard from out ranging the pet.

Definitely! I'm currently finishing up the mage one, and after that it's time for the enhancement shamans! I'll also try to add both 2 handed weapons and dagger + shield combos as both ways are viable for leveling.
You get Life tap at lvl 6. So in all seriousnesness, since you can get the crescent staff and that warlock staff in the same dungeon, it would be kinda skummy to roll on that spirit staff over another caster.
Intellect is less useful than spirit and stamina for warlocks. Your dots can't crit, so The extra hp to life tap with is better. Also the trinket from the quest for soul harvester is better because it will never lose value whereas you will eventually replace Soul Harvester. Great guide otherwise!
@TheNewyorkdragon i really want to see you level by just spamming shadowbolts. you actually don't shadowbolt much if at all while leveling unless in a dungeon. bring your opinion to the classic warlocks discord so I can see you get laughed at discord.gg/5MZqCE
@@Purriah I beg to differ, considering that wands are a huge part of priest and warlock levelling, the extra dps might shave off a few hours on your journey to 60
That’s foolish. You think 10% wand speed is going to make leveling faster than a whole bag ? And by hours? Think about it. You’re not going to be wanding anything as a warlock after a certain point because the dps drops off hard at higher levels. And if you are it’s to help dots finish something off, 1-3 wand attacks. 10% speed would mean you’re saving 0.15 to 0.54seconds per mob you even use it on, which isn’t many after level 30 to be very generous. And 1-30 takes like a day and a half played as a warlock at a lazy speed
@@Purriah Well, min/maxing isn't for everyone, and going from 80 to 64 inventory slots isn't that big of a loss if you remember to get rid of the junk at every opportunity, hell I'd probably still be carrying an extra traveler's just in case I would fill up my inventory

also he left off spirit of aquementas and inventors focal sword which are prebis items you get before 60

Apropos Jintha'Alor, I believe they have said that the updated quest zones will be in from the start, meaning Hinterlands, Searing Gorge and Silithus.
But they also said they didn't want too many catch-up-items to be there so I guess it depends how close it is to a catchup.

The vanilla wow spellstone is so underrated. I think the best weapons are 1 handed weapons like mageblade

usually it does, but its all standard on the items you see here. Wowhead just hasnt gotten their shit together just yet

Another thing worth mentioning is that equipping a quiver increases the wand's attack speed, could be worth it for warlocks and priests
