I pointed that out in the video already, and these are not supposed to be phase 1 exclusives, but guides you can look up at any time during classic wow's lifespan
From the recent AMA they made it sound like the Hinterlands quest hub is going to be in at launch. Which means Nature's Breath will be available. 41 dps, 6 Int, 3 Stam. I think it is only for horde, the superior faction. So Alliance will still need to wait until Noxious. The quest to get it is an elite area, but as a priest you can just find some dps minions to kill everything for you and get the wand right at 46. Could be a good alternative if you don't want to run Mara.
3rd comment! Thank you Hamster, I've been waiting for my Priest Video. You're amazing and keep up the good work! The quality is fantastic and you're definitely in the highest tier of WoW TH-camrs! Love ya bro ✌🏻💯
Mara will be out at launch. Following copied from blizz employee post: Phase 1 (Classic Launch) Molten Core Onyxia Maraudon Phase 2 Dire Maul Azuregos Kazzak
Is it really that viable though? Cause I'm kinda torn on this, I always thought that both balance druid and ele shaman from 1 to 35 or so is really hard to pull off
@@HamsterWheelGaming It would play just like a priest. Instead of wands you have melee. Front-loaded damage and then getting out of 5 second rule for mana. Arguably spirit becomes even more important since you don't get spirit tap. Even then, the talents don't lend themselves to efficient leveling. Beyond clearcasting, most of it is based around crits, so most of your talents are still going into enhancement or resto. Same story with balance druids. If you are only going to cast a couple nukes then melee for the rest of the fight, you may as well just go feral and save mana for heals. Both trees are meant for bursty damage in pvp, not for efficient leveling. I wouldn't say "hard to pull off". More that there is an obvious more efficient method you need to purposely ignore just for the sake of leveling as elemental/balance.
Maaaaan, just look at all of them patch 1.12 stats...this is a fucking joke. All of these items available from launch...a +53 healing staff from Thaurissan, the off-hand buffed to +22 healing instead of shit raw stats. People expecting an 'authentic' vanilla WoW raiding experience are going to be sorely disappointed. By the start of BWL, healers are going to have somewhere in the range of +600-700 healing which is fucking stupid. And that's just the healers, not even talking about DPS. There will be no challenge what so ever. I'm not surprised if every boss gets 1 shotted with the amount of overgearing people will have.
Just to put this into context for those who didn't play Pservers or the original, the only +dmg and healing staff in the game with a respectable amount at +44 was the staff from Doom Lord Kazzak, which was insanely hard to get your hands on. Not only did you have to get the world boss to spawn, but you then have to fight every other guild on the server for him, kill him, hope the staff drops, and then roll off against 20+ other people. The only other staff in early game with an insane amount of +healing was Benediction with +106 and that was exclusively for priests. Weapons, or most gear in fact with high +healing were not really available until BWL patch onwards, so it was really important for people to min/max and squeeze every last drop of healing and damage they could. But now we get all these 'catch up' super items at the start which are very easy to get, designed for late joiners to the game in Phase 2+ to get them Braid ready faster, for BWL content onwards.
Maraudon will be there for launch. Youre confusing it with Dire Maul mate
Thanks for clearing this up!
Was about to write it up
