  • This video introduces the 3D model of the injection mould of the fan wheel. Created using mold design tool UG NX. The structure of this fan wheel injection mold is very classic. And the mold structure is not simple.
This mold structure design idea is sufficient to deal with most similar fan wheels.
The mechanism of the special curvature blade of the fan impeller and the mold of the fan impeller is complicated. The core of the mold is 9 sliders with inclined guide posts. Complete the upper half of the plastic part by pulling the core sideways. The ejection system of plastic parts is the second ejection. If you do not perform two ejects, the product will rotate after a short distance, so it cannot be separated from the plug for a long time. At the first distance, the core rotates and the plastic part is unscrewed. The second plastic part is ejected from the mold. There are 4 small holes in each blade of the impeller. Therefore, each slider needs a small slider to solve.

Hello! Really good job. Could You advise me whether it is study job or this is real mould design was later realized into the steel? If it was the real steel mould whether there were any issues with injected product warpage due to unequel cooling, especially core side middle. There are many small inserts have no separate cooling at all.
