    I have the dock pro and love it. It gets cold very quickly and is very quiet. The only two problems I had was it started leaking water after about 4 months of use and it was very difficult to connect to the app. Sleepme sent me a new unit at no charge as it was under warrantee. The new unit is not leaking (so far) and it was very easy to connect to the app. I would just say best practice is to put a plastic tray underneath whatever unit you get just in case it leaks. Our washer and water heater came with a tray under them so it's just best practice around the home incase something with water in it leaks.

      Thanks for the helpful note. That is good advice on the protective tray underneath. I had not thought of that.

      I've been using mine for almost 2 years and haven't had any issues. Definitely a must have if you can afford the steep price but my only gripe is that the system goes through a lot of water. Other than that I have had no regrets or leaks while owning mine. *knock on wood*

    Hello! Halfway through the video you mention that the Cube and Ooler and Dock Pro are interchangeable. Does that mean if I have an old Cube in storage I can use that if my Ooler starts acting up? I just connect the Ooler provided plug and mattress tube connector to the Cube and all good? Thanks!

    I watched all your videos on the chilipad. I came from the original chilipad cube, then upgraded to the Ooler. Both Oolers starts making a LOUD scratching noise middle of the night. The 2nd unit is now out of warranty and sleepme will not service it. I just bought a would new Dock Pro and mattress pad again. I use to swear by it and after watching most of your videos. I hope it as not a bad decision to upgrade to the dock pro + pad.

    Does the fan/hum of the motor run steady all night or is it intermittent? Does it make your mattress firmer? Thank you for the review.

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question. If you have the setting set to adjust to different temps (in the app) then yes, it will kick on and off. Thought it is still very quite. It did not make our mattress (pillow top) any more firm. Thanks for the nice note and good questions!

    I’m a college student and I’m trying to get better sleep since I tend to be hot at night.
    Should I get the Cube since it is like $600 compared to the Dock Pro which is $1,000? Also, do you think SleepMe will still have company problems in the future?
    I ask since in your recent video you said they were restructuring and thus the customer service was bad.
    I like cold temperatures. Also, the Ooler is no longer being sold right?

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey buddy. I can appreciate you wanting to get better sleep and your question on which one to get. If the Cube is only $600 I would grab that. You dont need all the extra features and app. I can not say how the company will do in the future, but the products that we have been using are doing good. Just make sure to clean it and use distilled water. Hope that helps and I hope you get some good sleep!

    I've been using Ooler a little over month. The android app has never worked. I'm having some trouble with it getting down to temp now that we are hitting warmer months. One night, even tho i had it set to 63⁰, it was 66⁰ when i woke. Sometimes it takes an hour for it to go from 66-67 to 63⁰. Even when i set to 63⁰ it only goes to 64⁰.
    I wanted to ask, do you have any info on how it performs at certain room temps or humidity. I was hoping to keep room at 76-77⁰ but that doesnt seem to help its performance vs when my room is 72⁰.
    If i had realized doc pro didnt need internet, i may have got that instead 😢

    I used the chilli pad about 5yrs back. Good system but mjor complaint is the unit only lasts a yr or 2 tops. This review doesnt cover that and appears to be a promotional for all units. The way the unit cools is by using electric cooling plates that are cheaply made and stop working causing you to package the unit and return it. If its out of warranty they will sell you a remanufactured unit but it does the same thing. I expect something this expensive to last a minimium of 5yrs. Sad

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  ปีที่แล้ว

      5 years is pretty impressive for something that gets used 8 hours a day, every day. Our units are 2-4 years and still work. But, the Chili sleep is out of business so no one will be able to buy them anymore. This is not a paid promotion video. If it was it would say that in the beginning. Because we have ethics. Check out our 1000+ other reviews before you come here making stuff up. One more comment like this and I will remove you from this channel.

    • @madwand28
      @madwand28 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Engearment i appreciate the reply. However, 5yrs is not unreasonable. I use my TV, and laptop both more than 8 yrs a day and both have laated over 8yrs with no issue and this is not unique. Also, i wasn't aware chilli went out of business and that speaks to both my experience and my point. If it was a great product and people were happy with a less than 5yr operating period for the money they would still be going strong. As to my. Comment about promotionals, i expected a recomend of one over all others vs a recomend of all. Similar to consumer reports. You're welcome to ban me for giving my opinion and obersations. Nothing I've said here has been mean or derogatory.

      Hey, thanks for the well put together and kind reply. I really do appreciate that. I get a bit agitated when people accuse the reviews of being sponsored. But I do see where you are coming from as far as me not directly telling the viewer which one to purchase. I try and let the viewer make up their mind after seeing the products.
      I see your point about 5 years and using appliances for many years.
      We have had even better luck with the Eight Sleep system and would recommend that over the Chili now. Kind of a moot point as Chili is now out of business. Anywho, thanks for the good discussion. Take care

    I bought the Chili Pad. This thing is a piece of garbage and the companies customer service is utter atrocious. Within my second year the pad hose started to leak profusely. When I contacted customer care I was told I would have to replace the entire pad. That costs $450. After paying over $600 for this piece of garbage less than 2 years ago I now have to pay over $450 to use it or it is now just a $600 paper weight less than 2 years after purchasing it. I have never paid so much for something so poorly made with such absolute horrible customer support in my life. This company is garbage.
