Great video! I always wondered about the frequency. I do mine about every 3 months and knock on wood no issues. I have had mine since February of 2019.
The active ingredients for the ChiliSleep cleaning solution is chemically the same as the Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. I use a few oz of a non-toxic solution used in water cooled computer system in my Chili Cube. It lubricates the plastic parts and prevents bio growth. I ran mine daily since 2019 without a single flushing or cleaning.
Good to hear, yeah you could easily formulate their peroxide solution I would imagine.
Can you please tell us the name of the "non-toxic solution used in water cooled computer "? Does anybody know how much Lysol Laundry Sanitizer to use for cleaning?
On the app, under deep clean your Ooler, it’s says to turn on the UV light for 45 mins while its running. But I don’t see the option to turn on the UV light
Its in the settings, you have to select "Start Deep Clean"
Are the new pads not drainable anymore? I noticed mine is different then some of the older videos who drain the mattress portion.
There's a tool that comes with the cubes to drain them actually. It ships, I think I lost mine so I just leave them upside down in the tub/shower/sink for a few hours to drain out.
I am located in Australia and just bought an OOler. They didn't provide any cleaner in the package and now to order some, the shipping is $67US! I can't find any on Amazon, would you have a link by any chance?
Before they came out with the cleaning packets. They used to recommend adding hydrogen peroxide and running it on high.
Check their site. You should def clean it every few months.
Do we do a"rinse cycle " following the application of the chemicals? Or just leave them in there after the cleaning process?
Leave the chems in there. So you add water, then ad chems, run it at 77* for 1 hour and you’re good to go for another month.
@@scottlandb6579 thx much!!!
Blow in the fill hole to make it drain faster.
Thx, will check that out.
Does hydrogen peroxide in the distilled water work well?
I don't know. I would ask their customer support. That's bascially the ingredients in the cleaning packets.
Their original cleaning instructions for the previous versions only used hydrogen peroxide.
Bro, they have a tool to push on the drain plugs.
the tool doesn't work. The company does not answer emails or chat or social media messages. Zero ability top reach this company.
They have just been bought out by a different company and now are much more customer friendly. Try them again.@@terirossin4338
Bro, he said he lost it.
Do better.
All good, here's the link to it if you lose it. $5 free shipping: sleep.me/product/drain-key
