  • I took a 5 day trip to the South West of the Wollomi National Park, with some family and a mate. This video is about the campsite we stayed at, Coorongooba Campground near Glen Davis in the Capertee Valley NSW.

Brilliant campground. The cliffs surrounding you makes it feel like your deep in the mountains. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I love rain at camp! I also hate rain at camp. Nice spot Scott. Cheers Steve

Yep simple rain with no wind is awesome. As you saw, it was pleasant early on, then it went horribly wrong. A dead gazebo, and a dead awning in 1 storm. Thankfully my kings gazebo survived!

Ironic, just as the rain started in your video the rain started outside lol. Beautiful looking spot, I have looked at it before but not sure which way you are meant to come in. I wasn't sure if you could drive past the old Ruins there to access or not. Those cliff faces look amazing, I would love to stay there.

100%. within say 1 hr drive you got access to Newnes, Gardons of Stone NP, Wollemi NP, Capertee NP, Turon River NP etc... I have a couple more vids coming that detail some of the places we visitted. The campground is beside the Capertee river, more a creek though, but safe for the kids.
