Captain Planet and the Planeteers was in syndication from 1990-98 and again in 2005. Grew up with Captain Planet on TBS Superstation, syndicated, TNT, Cartoon Network, Kids' WB and Boomerang.

I was the older one (got a brother in mid 90s), but in my country all 80's stuff was actually shown during the 1st half of the 90s, so basically at the same time while I was watching Captain Planet and such stuff on CN, I was also watching Transformers G1, TMNT 1987, He-Man and She-Ra Filmation, Voltron Lion Force, Robotech, Smurfs etc on our local TV stations :) And at that same time, I was playing Mega Man 3 on my NES (that I still have and it still works just fine), I got a MM3 cartridge around 1994 or 1995 (and at that time it was new, because here in Europe MM3 was released late 1992). Terminator 2, the best movie in the history of mankind for me, came out summer of 1991, the first time I saw it was late 1991 (Oct or Nov), again like in MM3's case it was new :) I was near 5 years old but I remember that night very well. My late father rented a VHS in a "video club" (as we here used to call it back in the day) and we watched it together, as a family, along with my grandparents (back then we all lived in the same house, they on 2nd floor and we on the 1st). Also to add, I grew up watching Michael Jordan and his Bulls winning all there is to win, the best player and the best team to ever walk this Earth. I still remember collecting the NBA sticker albums, playing black/white with my friends, competing who'll be the first one to complete the album, being so happy when I'd complete one team and envy when some of my friends complete a team before I do..... So yeah, things worked out pretty well for me, caught up pretty much all the good stuff :) Man, I could almost cry when I remember all those things. Those were the days, certainly. And the only sad thing about it is they will never return....... but hey, at least I have the memories :) And situations like this, when I can remember them, and stuff like being able to still play Mega Man, to watch my G1 Transformers and other cartoons, to still watch the Terminator, Predator, Alien and all that, to collect their action figures that I couldn't have back then, to hear your remixes of Mega Man that I used to play back then (and still do).... so, all in all, I'm grateful. :)
