    Love this watch. Case, colors, handset, bracelet, case proportions, and 40mm size are all perfect for me. I could easily see getting both color variations. Thanks for the absolutely solid review, WR4K, I've just subscribed.

    So I loved the blue version so much that I bought the black version with painted indexes. It's a wonder too! The painted dial and the colors makes it a closer version to a milsub, maybe an aluminium bezel insert would have been better. But that's a great, an amazing watch. Happy to have the 2 versions

    This is a great offering by San Martin and Watchdives.
    The 006 case is perfection personified.
    This looks absolutely lovely!
    The blue dial, the sword hands, im a fan.
    The 90 click bezel is a shame, clear cost cutting measure, but it is what it is.
    Still a lovely watch!
    I would just wish, they would offer it in more colours, but the blue and the vintage one is a good start.
    I see this 006 superior to the 004 in every way, size, bezel design…
    Thanks for the review!

So it's officialy gonna be better quality than a Rolex watch box that is still made od plastic, lol... Anyway Happy New Year John and all the best 🎉🎉🥂

    Again with the 90 click bezel. WTF are they thinking?! (Pardon my acronyms)
    Outside of that, it's a fantastic looking watch. I have the SN004 mil sub, and I love it - but, I wouldn't call it a strict "Vintage mil sub homage" because it has an enamel dial with applied indices, and lacks crown guards. But, it's a fantastic piece that Ive had several compliments on. I'm very interested in the black SN006 mil-sub because I feel it's a closer tribute to the 5517; it has the faux patina painted indices and hands- while still preserving the brighter minute marks on the bezel, with the exception of the faux patinaed pip. Additionally, it has crown guards. However, its mirror polished flanks may not suit its military design. Still, I'm on the edge of purchasing the SN006 black mil-sub version...I'm debating, but will most likely buy it. If I do so, I will use your discount code. Thank-you for that.
    I like the blue one you reviewed quite well too. But, I already have a SN004 blue model with Tudor style hands, and so I'm quite satisfied with it as it is, and not sure I can justify this one for my collection.
    Anyway, once again a fantastic review. You are the best (and most thorough) watch reviewer on you tube. Much appreciation and respect for what you do.
    Kind regards.

    John you know I am your biggest fan. I've even defended you from these other idiots trolling you. But every san Martin or Pagani now you say this is the best they've ever made and you've said it for like a dozen or more watches. how could they all be the best watches that the company made. When you have said this is the best watch they have ever made or this is now a part of my Personal Collection I bought these watches because of your opinion. That's how much I trust your judgement. Only to find out the next watch you review is also the best watch they've ever made. Or you sold all those other watches you said were so great. As far as selling the watches I do get it because I have gotten watches that I thought I loved and then after a month or two I fell out of love. Again no disrespect because I have defended you against many of these dopes that have said things about you. Your biggest fan ray

    • @watchreviews4k
      @watchreviews4k  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      My opinion changes Ray. For example I thought the SN004-G Milsub was the best, then San Martin released the SN006-G Milsub; which is better. Hence me stating both were the best, as at the time they were. The other factor is being a watch reviewer, my collecting is different to a regular watch collector. I have experienced over 300 watches in the last 2 years 11 months, and done 12 SOTC reviews in that time. Therefore I am trying new watches every week, and change the watches in my collection more frequently as a result. I was satisfied with my Black Bay 58; but just fancied a change; when I saw the Datejust 41 in the jewelers window; as detailed in my review. Regards, #WR4K

      @YannickKhong 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think in the end you have to make your own mind up on the kind of watches you love. You've learned here that feel good factor is the ultimate aspect of enjoying a watch. So while the sn006-milsub is "best" here, I agree to disagree since I still prefer the black and white g2 version with the square printed indexes, S-crown and pt5000 movement :)
      Every time san martin output yet another variant, I'm often reminded that I've made the correct decision because I simply love the design combination of that specific watch over an applied maxi-dial that feels too modern or simply the movement downgrade. I was indeed going to get the sn004-milsub but ended up deciding against it since it felt too redundant to my sn006-g2...
      That's how you know you're wearing what you feel is best and overcome the "next review hype" cycles. :)

    • @wed265
      @wed265 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @watchreviews4k I get it. When you say this is the best watch of all time and then I get it I want that watch to always be the best of all time. LOL which I now no cannot happen cuz like you said you are getting a watch every week. You're doing a fabulous job. I have to tell you that of the few watches I have left I had a problem with all the pt5000 movements. I'm glad you're letting everybody else know about that because they are not good. The nh35 I have not had any problems with any of the watches. Yes I would rather have the high beat movement of the pt5000 but not if it's not going to work correctly or the crown doesn't go incorrectly. Your Fanboy Ray USA
