I have been married for 28 yrs, and I never once told my wife to treat me like I am the man in the marriage. I know my responsibility to love, honor, and treat her with the utmost respect. I asked God to teach me how to love her as Christ loves the church. I study the book of Ephesians 5. Men must understand their biblical responsibility to love and honor their wives. First, you have to marry the right woman. A woman who desires to be a wife, not just a BRIDE.

Powerful message. Always learning from Pst. K's messages. My question is, Isn't overlooking condoning misbehavours? How then do we correct each other?
Overlooking does not mean that one cannot mention the behaviour but PK states that we should be discerning enough to talk about the behaviour when the atmosphere is not tensed up because we will create more damage.
Correction must be done in love and correction in love means that I will wait for the time when the atmosphere is free inorder to discuss such issues
This also applies to folks who have enjoyed years of amazing friendship with their friends

If I me and my husband could meet u for counciling, my relationship is almost broken cause of all these things.
Choosing the right person for marriage does not guarantee a successful life together. The so called compatibility marriage. No. You can choose a person who may not be up to your level but the person may have one singular thing you lack or need in life. Our Lord Jesus did not choose perfect men as disciples. But they became perfect over time, especially after Pentecost . I pray for healing in all broken marriages.

However Pastor K, you seem to play a placation, the Bible never used the word "respect" for husbands but "submission" which is deeper in sense and value. I think it should be said just the way the BIBLE puts it.
