The suit was a part of the Dark Knight series comic books, when he plugged into the city to fight Superman. Frank Miller's Batman, which Affleck portrayed beautifully.
Agree with Aries 100% on bringing back Affleck as Batman but it appears that ship has sailed. At least they’re talking about Cavil again. Also for Berg, The Batman is a separate continuity from the main DC Universe.
You have to realize that “The Batman” was a good “Origins” start.. in Reeves universe. Batman is just beginning his new role, thus the lack of his Wayne character as the city of Gotham rarely seen him. As the sequels come you’ll see a much better development into both roles. Expect the Court of Owls in the next sequel.
I’m not 100% sure Arie spears actually watched Batman vs Superman the whole way cuz he isn’t understand what Andy is sayin about the iron Batman suit. I think Spears doesn’t realize Batman had a different suit when fightin Superman then he did in the warehouse. Which was indeed like a robot suit

If you guys are talking about Christian Bale that Batman did not wear an iron suit that was Ben Affleck and yes it looks kind of similar to an Iron Man suit but it still stayed true to the Batman suit it looked very similar to the suit he wore in Legos Batman 3

I totally agree. The choice for Batman/ Bruce Wayne was a poor one. Batman is one of the few superheroes who's special powers in his mentality and physicality. The new Batman actor doesn't have the physicality of Ben Affleck or the tortured, gritty look of Christian Bale.
The armor suit batman wore was for superman because he knew superman was far stronger then him. Btw check out the 5 minute deleted scene of the joker talking to batman from the movie he looks terrible.

The most plausible or real world you make Batman, it gets unrealistic. The Batman was entertaining, but in a real world scenario a Batman would be killed on the streets. Criminals have guns, and a shot to the face would end a dude in a bat suit. Now, I love Batman and every film even the campy series, mainly because of the Batmobile. Look, there’s a bat for every generation, that’s why he’s so cool. But, Zack’s Batman was my personal favorite, a nice mix of comic book and real world, cause Batfleck had guns. Now, I’m really a MCU fan because of the lighter episodic storytelling...DCU seems to be all over the place.
