This version of this ride looks so awesome. The facade, the queue and the ride itself are so detailed and immersive. The Magic Kingdom feels so outdated and boring compared to this one. I wish they update the MK version to be like this one.
@@mushieslushie id say in terms of scene progression, magic kingdom has it best. It has seversk scenes missing in the others, also i prefer how planet z comes before zurgs lair. In a progression sense it kind of breaks the pace to have it come after the lair.. Plus it removes the explanation for the star tunnel. But otherwise yeah its inferior, thoufh in-terms of the overall ride experience its a lil better on that front.
I know I am going to get hate for this, but Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin/Astroblasters/Laser Blaster > Toy Story Midway Mania. I am sorry I don't understand why MWM gets the hype or long wait times it does for a "ride" that is just an empty show building with ride vehicles that violently shuttles you to stare a different screens of an aging video game that is reskinned 5 times over with the same game mechanic. At least Buzz Lightyear fully immerses you, has interesting set pieces, a lot of kinetic energy happening in each scene, and you're engaging with the ride's world. Maybe if MWM had more animatronics or dark ride elements in between the screens, I would say differently. But MWM to me is such a let down after you get past the queue.

I get that, the 3D can be a bit of a headache sometimes. I love MWM, but I can see the problem here. The 3D and spinning dizziness. It’s ok!
