It's crazy how "posh" people can be nowadays... I'm sure they've never listened to or watched a Django song until the end for the sound (and image of the archives) is not "high resolution"... So not going with that kind of music.. According to me, of all the gypsy jazz videos you can find on youtube, this one is not the worst, far from it ! And Angelo is amazing, as usual.. I've enjoyed the entire concert. Thanks for posting !
QUE PUEDO AGREGAR DE ELOGIO ANTE SEMEJANTES MAESTROS PUDE HABLAR UNAS POCAS PALABRAS CON EL MAESTRO DEBARRE TRADUCTOR MEDIANTE CUANDO TOCO EN ROSARIO ARGENTINA HACE MUCHOS AÑOS FUE GRANDE MI EMOCION
Yes it is recorded in NTSC format (which was the standard at that time) with a separate 24-track recorder at 48kHz/24bit \ XLR mic splits at the theater mixing -console (i.e. no camera audio feeds were used). I published the the concert in B&W because the stage lighting was exclusively Yellow gel'ed by the venue's stage crew (why? who the hell knows), for Debarre and all the other groups that performed that night. Definetely a bad--look in color to say the least, B&W is the only choice left. You're experience most probably comes from the MP4 re-encoding automatically done to all youtube uploads, or by you're streaming setup. Sorry for your 'ruined viewing'. The DVD disc is now, way out of print. An HD download is on Gumroad if you're serious. Not withstanding, did you watch the fret-board action and delicate fingering by Debarre. He is a master muscician. All of us can learn how to play better because of him, I know I did. - Maki

low resolution, 4:3 black and white image, sound could also be 32 kbps. They ruined the entire viewing experience - it lasted me 10 minutes.
