When it came out in mid 95 I was at a chrysler dealer and wanted to buy a Jeep Cherokee, I saw this new 96 in the showroom. Lovely. I bought it right away. A Grand SE 3,3 with all the goodies, the best car I ever owned, never let me down. Sold it to a buddy of mine recently, it is still going well and bodywork is ok.
Such a beautiful design - really impressed by the quality of this product when they created it. Even today, it almost looks better than today’s designs.
It does. This was my favorite vehicle growing up as a kid (born in 86) This design was the nicest one Chrysler produced. The quality of it and everything about it were just, top notch. I have still to this day my 1998 Grand Caravan Sport with only 60,000 kms on it (Or 37,000 mi) and I still love it more than my 2023 Ram Warlock. :)
These vehicles are very quiet and do ride very soft. I like them for that reason. Every car manufacturer has their assorted issues..........................

Chrysler was really on a roll in the 90's. A shame Mercedes Benz, and every subsequent owner, destroyed them.
I topped one of these out at 104 mph as a teenager. That was a SUPER sketchy experience.

Not all Chrysler vans are the same! Only the Dodge and Plymouth vans in this generation has a Dodge Viper like grill and not the Town and Country!
